Very nice!! That looks like a Neal Turner piece. He’s in Nice. I have bought two of his paintings…..I have framed an Apple that my daughter did in 4th grade a vase my son did in 5th grade. Will post them.

I’ve always liked to draw and dabbled in watercolors and had oil supplies, but never pursued it further. I often think about getting back into it.
In the meantime….
Here is a portrait of my late feline, Iskander. It’s by Joshua Reynolds and titled,

This is a massive piece. The artist studied with my friend’s father. His career has taken off. The technique is encaustic. Basically hot wax to paint every inch of the canvas. The detail is amazing.

It is! It’s next on my to be reframed list with two charcoals that need better glass!
