Dartmouth picks up Stu Gates, brother of Mac Gates, Hofstra —
St Ignatius NCal, has a twin brother, maybe they can nab him too.
Love seeing Kirwan land a star St. Ignatius player!
Great pipeline potential.

.@PennStateMLAX heads to Delco, the grit capital of America, to snag ‘25 LSM/D Billy Henderson from @THEDUKESLC.
Emerged as a force for @sprlax, earning All-Central League honors for the PIAA runner-up. @natlaxfed 4 is a smart, heady and versatile defender with a great stick

All-Phillylacrosse Boys’ Team, 2023
Second Team
Defense
Billy Henderson, Soph., Springfield-Delco

Springfield vs. Radnor Standouts
Billy Henderson ’25, defense, Springfield
The Cougars are absolutely LOADED in the underclasses. Henderson, Flaherty, Kennedy and Valerio were among the standouts. Springfield’s got arguably the best group of underclassmen in the Central League.Henderson was fantastic all game long for the Cougars, routinely knocking down and picking off passes and making life miserable for Radnor’s offense. He baited the Raptors into a pass in a two-man game on the wing early, only to pick it off, and added another interception a few minutes later. Henderson also extended out and caused a turnover at GLE. He must have made at least a half-dozen plays on the ball throughout the game.

‘25 is on the board as Logan Turley verbals to @HarvardMLax.
Big-bodied 3 midfielder saw time this spring for @InterAcBoysLax tournament champ @MP_Lacrosse and popped at the NLF National Championships. Excellent shooter who’s also a problem as a downhill dodger.

That’s awesome. Harvard will have a top 10 recruiting class for the 20th straight year!!!!!

Now with Mackrides heading up Malvern, I’ll need to follow them more closely, they’re right down the road from us - Malvern beat Haverford for the title this year, though I don’t recall this particular player, I was tracking other recruits.

I've watched Logan play since he was in the 5th grade. I would not be surprised at all to see him play attack in college. He's not the most athletic of players, but he knows how to get to his spots. Phenomenal game awareness. Always in the right spot and making the right play. He'll make a ridiculous play, turn to a team mate, give him a high give, and jog over to the sidelines.

Navy heads to Boston for its ‘25 goalie as @LXCMinutemen 4 Ethan Train commits.
The heir apparent at @NoblesBVL, Train is a smaller but quick and explosive lefty that shined at @NationalASG and has a knack for highlight reel saves.

Was there only 1 signing yesterday? If so that’s the lightest September 1st since they instituted the change in underclassmen recruiting.
no signings, a verbal. you'd think it might make a modicum of sense to have a 2nd date where offers couldn't be made before. and thus no verbals. if there really can't be any recruiting contact, or at least no relationships built, the allowance of some time and not making it a speed-dating ritual may produce best matches.
Last year it took till the 4th of the month for someone to verbal, so this isn’t true.
