McAdorey listed as a M on Duke's roster. Believe Sharp is listed at A on the roster (and was also listed at A last year) but played M all last season, not sure he ever even got a run at A.

Also, I don't want to start Harvard for the UVA game, I probably want to start Cornell for that. But I find the whole "replacement game" thing insanely confusing so idk what to do there.

McAdorey played A first game and clearly going to be play A going forward. He's an A, the roster might say M but box scores overrule that so He's A and your team will need to be changed

Moving McAdorey to attack is pretty brutal for my lineup, hope one of my guys moves the other way.

For future info, the spirit of the rules is supposed to be a genuine reflection of where the player lined up. All articles points to McAdorey playing A and he wouldn't put up 5+ points as regularly if he was M doing shifts. Sadly, we have all been done like this before.. going out your way to sign an elite middy, only for him to be too elite and play attack ! Least you've got a starting duke attackman for at least 3 years! Worse problems to have!

Also Sharp playing M but often putting up A points is the reverse positively so you win some, you lose some. And you also have him for 3 years! Dangerous squad

That's quite the lineup and the likely favorite. I would put Hipandknee as a close 2nd, without as much name recognition.

Ohmi, how do you think the Cuse will fare Saturday? Several big questions:

1) Will Mark be in goal
2) Who and how well will the Fogo's do?
3) what will the close D look like w/Figueras out for the year?
4) Will Spallina and Thomson excel?
5) Does Hiltz pick it right up after the season ending injury
6) Did Army want us to finally travel to West Point? I'll miss that annual matchup - they always bring a physical tough game.

I'll be freezing my butt off on the walk up to the dome. Vermont is pretty decent, so I hope the Orange do well.

I think it'll be close. I'm not convinced by Petro, and won't be until the defense plays better. I think you're right that face offs may be an one of the keys. I imagine Mark will be an improvement in goal over last year. What do you think?

Defense: At a fall scrimmage the question was asked of one of the staff if anyone on the Cuse D understood slide packages. One former Cuse AA opined Cuse had not gotten the players for the defensive scheme they wanted to play for several years.

You alluded to this a little while ago, but with less detail the first time, and I didn't understand what it meant. This makes more sense and is very good context. Thanks!

He played Mid entire of last year.

The Attack was lyons, brandau and leo J so Sharp was playing middie. I never want to give other players advantage but he is actually playing M. Also the eye test he visual was coming out the box last season...
