Penn and Johns Hopkins have overlapped for decades in competing for the same student pool. Those who do well at one school often do well at the other. There are lots of highly successful people out there with both Penn and Hopkins degrees.

Just some completely objective and neutral observations.

Weren’t you soliciting a St Johns kid last spring/summer?
Yeah … but kid went to another program.

Anyway, Handley would be a good fit at Hopkins.

I know but pointing out profiles don’t matter for you in case that want obvious to the universe.
What is that, Pig Latin?!?

Please rephrase. Thanks.

I hear kids who look at St Johns also typically apply to Hopkins as well.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

I think it's a disservice to the current Hopkins team and to Handley to provide such assessments now. If he has to leave Penn and enter the portal to play more lacrosse it is certainly then an interesting summer topic to kick around which programs want him and which he would be a great fit for. He's obviously a great great player but he really might not be for everybody.

My money would be on him ending up at Notre Dame like other recent Penn grads Thornton and Gallagher. I'm sure Duke, Georgetown, Virginia, and Maryland will be in the mix as well.

I was thinking the same, I'd bet money he ends up at ND. Him and Dobson would be a scary duo from the midfield.

It's in his Linkedin so I'll take that to be official enough. Added him to the list above

Cole Herbert is still listed as a UNC to Towson transfer, so I don’t know if this still counts for 2024,
I believe I saw where he was enrolled at Towson as a student, I just don’t know if the plan is to play football or lacrosse or both.

Tufts Boyden will be a great pickup for someone. I don't expect him to be a free agent much past Memorial Day.

He would be the perfect replacement for Xander Dickson in that offense. He he’s great vision and can dodge, but his best skills are off-ball work, creativity, and finishing. When he was more of an off-ball guy for Mac Bredahl last year, he put up 86 goals on 45% shooting which is insane.

I doubt they grab him though… so much talent already coming in to Charlottesville.

Syracuse, OSU, or UNC could be great potential fits.

I would imagine that they look to Sunderland to be the replacement for Dixon. Sunderland will do a great job off the ball but they don’t expect him to replace Dixon’s numbers. He’s had a great year.

Sunderland, McIntosh, #1 incoming recruit McCabe Millon, Chase Band and Ryan Colsey, and others will all figure into the competition at attack with some moving to midfield. Virginia will be young, if only Shellenberger returns there, but still very talented. And let’s be fair, Dickson developed into the awesome player he is over several years. The first couple of years were not near AA ones. Kudos to him and the staff.

Cormier's got another year of eligibility, Schutz is only a sophomore, Shellenberger has another year. They're not losing that much offensively.

LaSalla, Dickson, McConvey and some short stick mids (Zinn, Conner, and Sallade) will be big losses to graduation. That is a lot of talent leaving. Will they pursue replacements though portal or from younger classes and for which spots?

Lot's of rumblings that Cormier will forego his COVID year and Shellenberger is undecided as well.
