A very nice mid week group of games streamed today: https://www.usalaxmagazine.com/media/tv-listings

Top of the Pops are:

1pm - #1 BC at #13 Virginia on ACCNX
4pm - Towson at #8 Loyola on ESPN+ (I don't think this game will be very close but hopefully I'm wrong.)
7pm - #5 Northwestern at #17 Notre Dame on ACCNX (Game time forecast in the 20's which means we're probably watching the game in the wretched field house with the wretched single camera angle.)

Other games that interest me:

I've always liked Doc's alma mater so I'll check in on Liberty at #20 Virginia Tech at 3pm on ACCNX.

Navy at Mount St. Mary's at 3pm on NEC Front Row. This might be competitive as MSM made the dance last year and Navy isn't the ranked opponent they used to be.

Campbell at Davidson might be interesting to look in on for a few minutes at 6:30 on ESPN+

It is at 3PM now. And I hope you are wrong on it being close :D

Towson was the reason that Loyola got the NCAA seeding they did last year. 2 regular season losses - Cuse and Towson....Beat Towson last year and they probably would have been hosting a regional and not playing Cuse 2nd round.

So, there is likely some motivation for the Hounds today.

Thanks for the time update, Doc.

I see you're still employing the tried and true reverse jinx psychology. Worked like a charm last game. 😉

Hosting a regional would have been compelling. Let's hope we see it this year...

Yep--lotta switching from game to game for me too. Too bad they games weren't spaced a little better. Like 12/2:30/5/7:30. Well--if I was the Sports Czar, that's how it would be.

Best of the lot for my money…

11am - #16 Stanford at #13 Virginia - ACCNX
11am - #19 Jacksonville at #2 Carolina - ACCNX
12pm - #RV Dartmouth at #4 Stony Brook - ESPN+
1pm - #9 Michigan at Towson - FloSports*
3pm - #RV Ohio St at #RV Colorado - Pac12+

https://www.usalaxmagazine.com/media/tv-listings Note: going to this webpage and clicking on the network brings you directly to the game.

* Apparently FloLive changed their name to FloSports and is now dealing on the up and up. The monthly price for a subscription is now $8 (I’m not sure if that price is just for a CAA only subscription but it’s still more reasonable than what it was) and there is no longer a swindling policy of in for a penny in for the year of whacking you for an annual fee when you thought you were signing up for a single month. The voice of the people has been heard.

One lonely blowout on the schedule

5 pm - East Carolina at Duke - ACCNX

Easy to look ahead to tomorrow afternoon for Syracuse at Northwestern at 4pm nationally televised on BTN Network.

We got us a prime time matchup today, folks. (DMac or seacoaster will have your game thread up presently.) The #3 Syracuse Orange travel to Evanston for a showdown with the #5 Northwestern Wildcats nationally televised on BTN Network at 4pm eastern standard time. (I hope your cable service carries BTN as this will be a bittersweet day if not.) If that proves to be the case, I believe YouTube TV is a viable alternative. Anyway--the forecast is for high to mid 30's with a light breeze from the NE; but the game, (and every game in March for that matter) is scheduled to be played in the field house. Tsk tsk--the once mighty Wildcats are sure going soft. The great Martin Stadium on the shore of Lake Michigan is getting less and less use. But I digress.

Navy at Drexel could be a competitive game though I give the Dragons the edge.

18 games being streamed today. No real marquee matchups though there are a few ranked teams in action. Georgetown at Johns Hopkins might be interesting. Loyola at Penn. Villanova at St. Joe's Philly 6 battle. All in the eye of the beholder as they say.

Zo, vee vill move shmahtly along...

Some good matchups today. A few evenly matched teams squaring up to the draw.

Coastal Carolina could give newly minted #17 Richmond a run. Nothing inspires a non ranked team like going against a ranked one.

#23 James Madison visits Ohio State

#16 Vanderbilt travels to the Rocky Mountain state to play #RV Colorado. Don't think the Commodores will be happy with the final result but that's just one fellow's opinion.

It’s safe to say more women’s lacrosse games are played on Saturday than any other day of the week. Today is no exception as 32 games are scheduled, most all of them streamed. You could sit on the couch from 10 this morning till around 8pm tonight watching lacrosse if you so choose. Notable today—the Ivy League begins conference play, all of the Eight Ancient’s squaring off against each other. Among the more intriguing matchups:

10am - #5 Stony Brook at #11 Florida
12pm - #1 BC at Louisville
12pm - Harvard at #24 Penn
12pm - Penn St at #9 Loyola
1pm - High Point at Mt. St. Mary’s
1pm - Kennesaw St at Wofford (I include this game because Wofford has outstanding broadcast production)
1pm - Villanova at #14 Rutgers (That inbred Jersey vs Philly rivalry)
3pm - Delaware at Georgetown
6pm - St. Joe’s at Towson

Some real beauties today. Too bad women's lacrosse is so blind when scheduling the games. No foresight at all. Can you imagine the NFL scheduling 3 great matchups all with the same start time? How about men's college basketball? Well, thank goodness for replays. Still, it would have been nice for these games to have been spaced out so as to make it a triple header we could watch live: perhaps Virginia vs ND at noon; Duke vs Syracuse at 3; NU vs NC at 6. Nope--all at noon. Still much work to be done in this area.

I'll have the big screen on UNC game and two phones streaming ND and Cuse. Problem solved
