Shocking Duke isn’t better between the lines

They don't really have any great athletes through there. UNC's got Bowen obviously who's a freak, then Maryland's d midfield is really strong and fast. Duke has some fine defenders and good players but no blowaway athletes.

Bowen is far from a freak, simply a big mobile physical defender with a good stick . Many others on that team are more athletic. UNC can be scary good with that offense . ND and Maryland are more complete and latter has best player in the game in Bernhardt . The shot clock perversely helped Tillman to let them play and he filled voids especially on defensive end. Will say that Duke does have that stickiness that is hard to quantify. It's allowed them to win some tight games. UNC, Maryland, ND, UVA, Duke, Rutgers be my top six.

Tru dat. ND looks incredible, but for how darn good that defense is they sure do make some terrible decisions clearing the ball. If they can be better be better decision makers it ND vs UNC for the NC.

Yes and how many big mobile physical defenseman with a good stick are there? The dude is faster than any other defender of his size in the open field. Hence, he’s a freak

Please. Conners is a freak big who would lap. Bowen is excellent but Kielty is a big with better feet capable of playing smaller quick ones.

Kielty is a better one v one cover guy yes but that wasn't my point. I'm talking about athleticism in the middle of the field; where Bowen thrives
