UNH got the first two goals, but then D's Katie Elders put up 3 straight to take the lead which was never again challenged. 11-3.

15 saves by the UNH tender kept it reasonable. Dartmouth's tender only faced 6 shots on net.

Only nit, I'd like to see more assisted goals. But great start.
I hope you’re right. But UNH is a glorified high school team these days.
ouch...I'd not say that of any competitor and certainly not on my home team's thread about a competitor...

Bottomline, great start...wish I could say that of the men...I'm hoping they give me more to be pleased with as we go along...
I went to UNH, and remember Sandy Bridgman’s teams. We’ve fallen pretty far.
ok, you're speaking as a UNH supporter. A clear-eyed supporter, from your perspective. Much as I try to be about the Big Green's men's team.

Just making clear that's not the perspective of Dartmouth supporters towards UNH.

It was a pleasure to see a road team wear road colors and not the en vogue, dismal, ubiquitous black so many teams have adopted into their uniform rotation. I am speaking of the Big Green of Dartmouth in their game against Northwestern last night. Dartmouth is one of the teams that had to take a step back due to covid. They are not the typically strong Big Green we have become used to over the last few years. Hopefully, they will be able to get back to their former strength soon.

Dartmouth has improved dramatically on the short season to date. This is a testament to hard work, resilience, and outstanding coaching. In addition to recovering from a losing a longtime coaching legend, surviving a bad coaching match AND the two-year COVID layoff, this team has 5 (FIVE!) ACLS, four of whom were projected starters. These girls are all worthy women of the woods and Alex Frank will rebuild this program, without a doubt. Note that freshman made a significant contribution vs. NWU, including the goalie with 18 saves. UP UP BIG GREEN!

Good news. The rest of the NCAA is better with a strong Ivy League.

Did anyone see the second half of the Dartmouth v Brown today, it looks like they were tied at half time and then Dartmouth only scored 1 goal in the second half?

Dartmouth played like a team that was off for almost 2 years and has nearly no healthy players with any college experience prior to 2022. Two to be exact. They are much improved from the start of the season, as they proved in the first half but, like many Ivies (with one exception) they have a long way to go to be back where they were pre-COVID. For Dartmouth at that in the top 10 and defending Ivy Champs. Fortunately, this program has an incredible tradition of resiliency and an outstanding leader. They will be back.

Let's try to remember who recruited the Big Three to BC ... she runs the show in Hanover now.
