Yes,
The OSU in 2017 and the Tar Heels in 2016 both proved that unfancied teams can get hot and make it to the Final. Last year Penn came very close, helped in large part by Sam Handley, a 6' 5" first-year from Oregon. So while my four picks are UVa, Penn State, Yale and Cuse, I won't be very surprised if some team thus far unmentioned on this thread emerges to make a run in May.

UMD*, PSU, JHU, UVA (* wins it all, unfortunately)
UMD has the experience & coach to win it all.
PSU knows how to win. Do they know how to be a champion?
JHU: my dark horse. They have been snake bitten too often lately. Fate is on their side this year.
UVA: Once this offense gels, they will score their way into the final four. Mystery goals help too.

PSU -now or never, superb offense makes it now
UMD -for reasons others have already cited but lose in another final
UVA - defending champs are even better but cards just dont align two years in a row, lose in semis
Penn- Gallagher again mitigates Ierlan impact and beat Yale in OT this time , lose in semis
Having made those picks, several teams such as Duke and Yale will always be in discussion
Rooting interest is Cuse , certainly talented enough but keys will be consistency and how well a few openings are filled . Going to be more athletic than last and possess a strong returning nucleus in Mellen, Kennedy, Dearth, Curry, Trimboli and now Dordevic and Scanlan plus several other core pieces.

Seems like there are 2 pretty clear tiers going into the season
Tier 1
Penn State (in my opinion the clear 1a)
UVA
Yale
Tier 2
Maryland
Penn
Cuse
Duke
Hop
ND
I'll go with PSU, UVA, Yale, and Penn for my F4.

Delaware was 10-5 last year. F0s look a little shakey. Goalie 6'6" Matt Deluca .581 save pct, that's pretty good.

Okay, I can see the sense of picking the Blue Hens. CAA rep Towson made the Final 4 in 2017, so... if they can beat JHU and take the CAA, Delaware will no longer be an outlier.

Peter Brown either seething or enjoying the lack of respect for Loyola on this ff thread . Hounds winner of Patriot League 5 out of the last six seasons and a quarterfinalist last year before running into PSU. Yes, they lose Spencer and Stover but all indications are they will again be good . Wouldn't call them a outlier but rather overlooked.

I have them in my Patriot League Final Four, just not the NCAA Tournament one
