It was majorly preventable, everywhere….this was also the second one in the small area of Hartford County, MD in less than two years. The Gov also agrees.
You and the governor think that we can keep the 10million+ living here illegally from breaking any laws?youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 9:20 pmIt was majorly preventable, everywhere….this was also the second one in the small area of Hartford County, MD in less than two years. Sounds great. So....what's the plan?
It's a local story that has had extensive coverage in local media since it happened, with no slant on immigration.

Her disappearance received wall to wall local coverage since it happened in Aug '23.a fan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 11:17 pmFrom Kram's headline: Rachel Morin's murder case highlights immigration debate in Marylandold salt wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 11:05 pmIt's a local story that has had extensive coverage in local media since it happened, with no slant on immigration.
This is your idea of no immigration slant?
Okay. I stand corrected.
In this case, detain him the first (of four) times he crossed & was detained.a fan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 10:00 pmYou and the governor think that we can keep the 10million+ living here illegally from breaking any laws?youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 9:20 pmIt was majorly preventable, everywhere….this was also the second one in the small area of Hartford County, MD in less than two years. You mean like when the Senate tried to pass a bill giving the border more money, more assets, and the ability to do just what you're suggesting here?old salt wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 12:42 am In this case, detain him the first (of four) times he crossed & was detained.
Before releasing him into the US, check his record with El Salvador (where he was wanted),
then hold & extradite him to El Salvadorian authorities.
We have a good working relationship with El Salvador.
Martinez-Hernandez was in custody 4 times. Caught & released 4 times. The release part was Biden's policy. Sure, blame Trump.a fan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 1:27 amYou mean like when the Senate tried to pass a bill giving the border more money, more assets, and the ability to do just what you're suggesting here?old salt wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 12:42 am In this case, detain him the first (of four) times he crossed & was detained.

Sorry mate, you can't actually address or even TRY to fix the problem, because Trump and the Republicans need to keep you mad and voting for them.
So yep, Trump called in his political chits, and the Republicans killed the bill that TRIES to get more funding to the border, which includes the ability to sort more effectively.
So now they get to run this murder case, hope that you forget who killed that bill and increased border funding....and vote for Trump.
Happy to leave Trump out of it. So they had a bill that sent badly needed money and assets to the border....and it was killed. Don't care why. But it was killed. Blame the tides if that makes you happy. I know for doggone sure you'd sooner die that blame anyone with a R by their name, and I get that. You do you.
Great. So once again, you think the status quo is better. You think having 10 million+ humans not paying a whole mess of taxes is genius, don't change a thing,.
It won't stop until catch & release is stopped, illegal entrants detained, parole entries stopped, the CBP app shut down, no govt funds to NGO's that facilitate the asylum scam & serve as travel agents & legal aid, & mass deportations commenced & expedited. Then it won't be worth paying $10k to a cartel to smuggle you in or show you how to work the asylum scam.a fan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 2:00 amHappy to leave Trump out of it. Which is why you keep getting exactly and precisely that. I've been telling you this same. exact. thing. for YEARS now.
You and your fellow Dem and R voters will NEVER catch on, and will keep telling yourself that a magic, special, perfect bill is on its way, "therefore" we should do absolutely nothing until that happens.
This thread will be alive until you catch on to this game, OS. Not a day sooner.

We are supposed to screen & be selective about who we let in.
We don't have to admit proven criminals or likely criminals (e.g. MS-13 tats).
These migrants are not coming via Ellis Island.
Terrible story, let's get back on topic.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 7:33 am https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/17/us/louis ... index.html

They are all terrible things done by terrible people. A cogent strategy about immigration reform has little to do with the rare case of a bad hombre doing bad things. That’s not a real reason for immigration reform because the goal of immigration reform isn’t to “keep out bad hombres”. We need a rational system to allow people into the country lawfully and a system to facilitate productive participation in our system. Get them on the payroll instead of under the table. So, people that come in the country legally don’t murder people? It’s silly and stupid and the only point it serves is to motivate you to vote for someone that claims they are going to fix it. The Trump administration controlled the executive branch, congress and the senate during his first two years. Got tax reform done without a single democrat voting for it and why didn’t immigration reform get passed? He ran on it? It didn’t get passed because it would be one less thing to motivate people like you to vote.kramerica.inc wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 9:20 amTerrible story, let's get back on topic.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 7:33 am https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/17/us/louis ... index.html

Not quite.
