I don't like the brand. They have been successful in a lot of other sports. And once were very competitive lax wise. They need a Colf like dude to bite in and stay while making it great all around.
Rumor is they are staying in house with their hire.

That's fine. There have been a lot of good dudes and talented people coming out of that program. It's a sleeping (regional) giant. Like Widener, but your players are less likely to get shot. Hope they ball long term. Last real contemporary program to mine (2004 PAC grad, Wesley and Neumann were really it when I hit the starting line). LFG. Get to bussin'.

Agreed, definitely not a bad thing.

2004 from Cabrini here homie. Neumann was actually legit for those early years. They had some talent, even a PAC POY. I hated them. They fell off in 2004, kept getting worse.

Neumann was a lot like Cabrini. Academically, location wise (Aston isn't Radnor, but it's geographically close). IDK. I always thought they were an invested, decently paid coach away.

I"m somewhat shocked by the number of openings still on the table with students starting to arrive on campuses in the past week or so.

Being somewhat familiar with the two SUNY's that are open, I can't believe their administration doesn't have somebody in place by now. Hopefully the assistants are still on board and can help keep things going until the head jobs are filled.

Neumann going interim for now and will hold interviews starting mid October, assuming new AD is in place.

Marywood open?

Marywood: Justin Patterson appears to be no longer serving as Head Coach and Fitness Center/Strength & Conditioning Supervisor after two years on staff

OOO! This is good info.

Justin making his way back to New York, maybe even back to Utica (this time at Polly) would make a ton of sense.

I heard Patterson got married and his wife wanted to be closer to family. Can't imagine a place like Marywood could aford to ask any halfway decent coach to leave, its not like there will be a long line of guys looking to get in there.

Fair enough on Marywood but I’d hardly call 9-23 overall and 3-9 in the conference over 2 years “halfway decent” - seemed program was headed in right direction and he didn’t do a very good job capitalizing

Any word on the announcements?

Also, what is going on with Capital? Seems like the most intriguing job out there. I would have assumed that they made a hire by now or at least name an interim.

The William Peace hire is a surprisingly good hire for that place. Assuming they support him, and he stays then he should do well there.

Per Plattsburgh I’m told they have hired a NY native with 11 plus years D3 HC experience from the USA South Conference.
