Hey don’t forget that UMD had a very important grad transfer back in 2019. Erica Evans had a fantastic year in 2019 and was a major contributor.

Not sure if Maryland wins the title in 2019 without her. It would have placed almost all the meaningful midfield offense on Giles's shoulders. Evans scored over 50 goals for the Terps that year. Pretty good pickup out of the portal.

Fantastic talent. Makes you wonder when Coach Teeter starts getting those type of Canadian players to go to Louisville?

Agreed, though she was held to 1 assist in the final vs BC. She caught fire during the latter half of the year. I don't know if they would have made the final without Evans. The cracks were visible in the offensive leadership even during her time there.
