The inability to clear is getting absurd. Very little awareness. No composure. I get that our SSDMs are playing well on the defensive end, but there has to be at least one that isn't a liability in the clearing game.
Martin just easily ran by two guys and cleared himself. where has that been all year?
Agreed, just take the outlet pass and go until you get double-teamed, at which point someone else has to be open.

12th turnover.
In the crease, unpressured, on man up?
Has anyone ever seen that before?!?

D - Martin, Szuluk, McManus, Smith, Kirson - all good
Degnon - good
Narewski back (sorta?) - good
clearing/turnovers - ungood

Exactly. A mystery why he wasn't involved before now.

Defense and Kirson playing solid D.
Glimpses of some good ball movement on offense.
But the turnovers (12), including four failed clears, hurting the Blue Jays. Ungood indeed.
This Hopkins team is going to give me a heart attack … and I don’t mean that figuratively.

Isn’t that how Petro and company solved a clearing problem about five years ago? They brought a SSDM down and the whole objective was to get the ball to that SSDM as quickly as possible and then have him run upfield. Simple, and it worked.

Another Navy goal off a Hopkins turnover (14th).
Why all these turnovers when there is no pressure?

Not uncommon for attackmen. Go check TO’s of Pat Spencer....it’ll shock you.

Hipkins offense is awful. That's the story. They are averaging 10 goals a game. It is just not good. You cam make whatever excuses you want about TOs or clearing at the end of the day. There just isn't that much talent.. not a single guy on offense can beat their man. Their is no Skuliank that can just beat their player.
It isn't scheme it is players
