Wrong again.

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.

None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true.

It is an odd thing Peter. When you point out the 50 year record of miserable and incompetent predictions on their part all they do is double down and become even more angry and disrespectful. Their next 50 year/ 1000 year predictions have nailed it spot on.     I wonder why all these arrogant, condescending and self righteous environmental fruit loops have not invested their life savings in Al Gores carbon credit company. That fat f***ing beached whale needs himself a new jet airplane. That Gulfstream G4 is so last decade. Al Gores fat f***ing con artist ass would look so much nicer in a shiny new Gulfstream G5. Maybe Mr Dis will invest some of his hard earned money to make Fat F***ing Al's new airplane goal a reality?     I will bet anything that any of these FLP obnoxious environmental p****s have never so much as picked up a candy wrapper off of the ground and put it in a trash pail. Yet they feel free lecturing us what we should do to save the planet? :P :P

The hypocrisy of your standard-issue American liberal is unmatched by any counterpart in the universe. And you hit the nail on the head when you point out whether any have bothered to bend over and pick up trash, all the while hectoring others about impending doom and gloom. They haven’t and won’t. Their need to lecture is epitomized here daily by some well known posters, just endlessly droning on about woke virtue signaling, with remarkable ego, not knowing anything, but consistently lecturing everyone (I don’t want to single any one lib poster out, so let’s just say one guy from Maryland stands above the crowd here! ). I can not imagine what it’s like to share a meal with them. I’m sure they are experts at whatever they eat and drink too, informing cooks and bartenders how to do their jobs!

I understand the difference between being a good steward of the planet and being an environmental fruit loop fanatic. Those environmental fruit loops can talk the talk but have never in their lives walked the walk. This morning I took Roxy for her walk. I picked up 3 other piles of dog chit from all the dog lovers that left them on their neighbors lawns. That did not even include the usual trash I pick up every morning. This morning was impressive. Usually at the end of my street there is the McDonalds bag and drink cup some one politely tossed out of their car on to the sidewalk. I have spent decades picking up other people's trash but being a CC/GW denier is the true test of my character? So we want to leave a clean planet to a bunch of ungrateful effing pigs? Why not, makes sense to me.

You may be one of the few folks on this forum that gets it Pete. I bet dollars to donuts that Mr Dis has never wound up with dig chit on his fingers picking up after some other inconsiderate dog owner. His gripe is more in the abstract. He wants to save the planet from threats he can never even define. Would Mr Dis pick up a pile of dogchit from someone's yard he doesn't know? I'm guessing no. His b***h goes goes way beyond such a mundane idea that would ever involve him soiling his precious fingers with dog chit. He wants to save the effing planet. Let some body else rub their fingers in the dog chit and do the actual dirty work. That is waaaaaay beneath the pay grade of the run of the mill arrogant FLP type of person.

You lost the plot with your first sentence.

I picked up trash in a park with my son and his Cub Scout troop last weekend personally, have concerns about the environment simply because human population growth is unlimited relative to the finite size of the planet and we grow the way cancer grows, it’s been seen, but not a acolyte or maniac about it.

The biggest mistake people make though is assuming because timing is off on a prediction that the direction isn’t correct. Life isn’t linear and things will change over time but directionally this is something we have to consider and act accordingly or there will be an end to existence at some point.

I can’t even respond to some aspects of it, just dumb and/or incendiary with no purpose. Just one out of touch unathletic, unaccomplished, mouthy, silver spoon person flooding this whole area with trash that isn’t consumable by people who have a brain and one who seems to me to be a good guy but angry and old and doesn’t want to be told anything by anyone. I’m defense of cradle, having lived in DC and NYC I’ve been a round plenty of wanna be faux intellectuals that love to talk about what they read in the New Yorker or the Economist (Though less of the latter) over their $12 wheat grass infused smoothie and vaping. I don’t want to hear from those bs artists and/or the administrative class on policy and philosophical items either but haven’t gotten as mad as Cradle yet.

Dealing with bozo posts like this is painful.

This dude assumes that human population growth is infinite and will overwhelm earth. Jfc.

You know what the real problem of the world will be shortly? Negative growth. It’s already happening in many countries.

Climate change is simply a Trojan horse to take your money. No one needs to sieve one minute worrying about rising seas. You should be focused on rising taxes instead.

I do it every damn day doc. Every God damn day. That is why Roxy and I go out for our walk with a handful of bags. I dont know what the eff you pick up every doc. There is never a shortage of garbage left by the side of the road. So you want to save the planet for these bunch of effing pigs that are too lazy to throw out their own trash? Good for you doc. What do you use to wash the dog chit out of your lily white veal chop fingers tips??? Sorry doc, I can never vision your pasty faced FLP elitist, liberal arrogant self centered, conceited lily white ass ever doing any sort of manual labor that would dirty up your perfectly manicured finger tips.

The trash and pigs are your local people though. Not effete, liberal white whatever JHU is to you. It’s you’re people trashing your area and not picking it up not his kind. Sort of like blaming local RE taxes and other problems in downstate politicians. Not nearly enough critical analysis of the people closest to you the theme seems to be blaming someone further away and different from those around you when many fo these problems either are or started locally.

Your going all PhD thesis on me FFG. I'm just wondering when the last time Mr 72 wound up with dogchit on his fingers and a bagful of trash picked up from policing up after all of the degenerates that contaminate his neighborhood every God damn morning. I do the same effing routine every effing God damn morning FFG. Then I read the horsechit here from all of the FLP liberal elitist pecker heads that enlighten me what I need to do to save the effing planet. Sorry there FFG, I have spent waaaaaay to many mornings washing the dogchit of known peoples dogs off my fingers and picking up other people's effing trash to be lectured by the arrogant effing FLP assholes on this forum what I should do to save the effing planet. When some of these assholes decide to go our there and pick up other people's garbage and get the chit from other peoples dogs on their fingers after cleaning up after them... Then they can effing lecture me about what it takes to clean up the planet.
If Mr MD laxs wants to post something about me going on an angry diatribe... Then his FLP Nelson Rockefeller candy ass liberal republican ass will be 100 percent correct. He is probably the only other poster on this forum who takes the time to pick up after all of the pigs in his neighborhood.

I don’t think he was lecturing you. I believe you do all of that. But to take your effort and extrapolate that it’s all made up or of no concern at any time ever is a big stretch. Everyone looks in other peoples pockets, that includes conservatives and republicans too. It’s all risk transference and unfortunately natural, it’s not one sided,so for every “liberal“ who’s loudly demanding they receive a disproportionate benefit to their effort there’s a “conservative” doing the same in some other way.

BTW, I won’t pick up others dog crap. I’ll pick up trash but that’s different.

I pick up dog chit almost every morning. I'm not kidding about getting on my fingers. Lazy mother effing dog owners who won't pick up after their own dogs. I go out every morning now with 3 bags. One for my dog and 2 other bags for all the other garbage. If you this pisses me off.. you would be correct. The most fun is picking up those McDonalds bags and drink cups people launch out of their cars into the middle of the road. Save the planet for who? A bunch of effing ungrateful effing pigs.

.. no doubt about it. You are certainly the most virtuous dog chit picker upper.

I haven't picked up any dog chit since mid November, Roman died. As for litter, whenever I see some in the neighborhood. Neighbors are pretty good, so not much litter. Wind might blow a can over once in a while, when that happens whoever notices it first usually gets it. Now trees are a different story. 8 more have blown over in the last two weeks. What a pain in the ass. Got the chain saw out last week and started cutting them up. Rain this week has slowed the progress. The biggest one was on the property line between my lot and the neighbor, fell onto my lot. About 75 foot tall and 10-12 ft. diameter at the base. Biggest damn tree I have ever cut up. Took us three days working together to clean it up. Good guy, just moved into the neighborhood with his wife and kids a few months ago. Young guy, age of my sons, IT entrepreneur. I thought it was really nice of him to help with the tree.

Sorry to hear about Roman. I'm sure like myself you loved your dog. You must be fortunate to live in a neighborhood of responsible people. I just get very frustrated because I go through the same damn routine every morning. I clean up after my dog and everybody else's dog and pick up people's trash every day. I don't mind doing it but lazy and inconsiderate people drive me crazy. I live a stone's throw from our local fast food and liquor store. It never ceases to amaze me how many little liquor bottles and fast food containers get thrown out of people's cars. I always have to watch my dog because those chicken wing bones tossed out can kill her if she grabs one, and she will try and grab them if she can.

I do understand your frustration. Chicken wing bones are the worst. Yes, I am most fortunate.

Roman was 15YO. 18 months earlier had been diagnosed with cancer (inoperable), it was painful and he lived the last 18 months on pain killers. He was really pretty functional for the entire period, alert, reasonably active, but slept more than he had. We kept him alive as long as he was enjoying life, longer than I would have thought when diagnosed. The week after Thanksgiving it became clear it was time so my wife contacted a vet who would come to the house and put him to sleep. All the kids came home, a couple of the neighbors, everyone knew him. It was a really warm day for the time of year, he laid out in the yard with everyone around, said good bye (barked at a squirrel or two) and the vet put him to sleep after he fell asleep naturally. Brings a tear to my eye. Thanks for the condolences. This is the important stuff in life -- dog poo ;)

Don't let the "animals" get you down.
