This may be the most uninformed comment ever on these boards
SOOOOO UNINFORMED!
Again, please expound with something other than this.

The coaches aren't putting in 40 hours right now. They aren't. They're hosting a few visits and closing out their 25 class, watching film for the 26 class and evaluating who they saw last summer, and looking at film from last year in preparation for this year. Those are facts - please bring something specific other than "ooooh that's so uninformed." I'm giving "informed" information. So bring something worthwhile and constructive.
You couldn’t be more wrong, coaches right now are recruiting and sitting in meetings all day, hosting recruits, confirming schedules, ordering equipment, etc.
Yes they are working less hours than in season but still doing 40 hours is like a vacation to them.
Guy is probably correct, plenty of coaches not putting in 40 hours a week currently. Check the yearly winning percentages for the 300+ D3 lax programs. You can easily pick out the ones doing 40+ hours in off season.

Hearing SUNY Poly has been offered.. the name I’ve heard is a young coach with a ton of energy and good experience! Has HC experience too. Strong recruiting ties to NY and the North East. A lot of work to do to get the program competitive but if supported by admins this coach can do it!

I hear poly has been turned down twice now, including from the coach outlined above. Lack of salary and assistant coach pay, lack of institutional support. Not a great way to start.

Poly and Platty are probably largely the same applicant pool and finalists.

Hearing a MAC school will have a late opening.

Assuming you don't mean Alvernia, which is currently open.

Nope, that's the one I'm referring to.

Can they ever improve? The revolving door of coaches tells me no one is looking in the mirror.

On to the next.

Certain places are coaching graveyards. Alvernia is exhibit A when it comes to that.

Alvernia has always seemed like a place with some potential, but coaches don't seem to stick around long and have never really gotten much momentum. Good facilities, decent location, lots of majors, seems like it could be a good spot but they need someone to stick around.

On another note, I noticed that Neumann hired Cabrini's former coach for the women's lacrosse job, I wonder if Tommy Deluca would be an option for them.

Seems odd that they would hire someone from the coaching tree that they just fired. Probably just going to be more of the same underachieving program.

Kid is a solid coach going into to tough spot but, he is a North Jersey guy so that should help. I actually like FDU coach a little better as he has a little better experience. You can not blame Lopes for leaving Kean for Hun but I am
A little surprised that he went back

Neumann (PA) is an underrated job. That school is better and more centered than most comparable institutions in the region. I don't like the location. I don't like the brand. They have been successful in a lot of other sports. And once were very competitive lax wise. They need a Colf like dude to bite in and stay while making it great all around.

Someone should start a post of schools dropping their program. Concordia University in Chicago is discontinuing their program.

Finalists for Capital job are former Denison/Capital assistant Adam Stewart and Hendrix HC Drumheller. Decision should come next week.

Not surprised. They had trouble fielding enough players some games and had to cancel in recent seasons.

Any word on Northland? Their school completely reorganized last year and their lax conference disbanded.
