I thought Princeton and a few other's didn't but maybe your right.
Much to my dismay Princeton does not take transfers. Seems like the admin takes pride in being the most strict in the league (see their disastrous Covid policies). To my knowledge all of the other ivies take transfers, but vary in terms of how active they are with it and what sports take transfers. Off the top of my head Yale and Penn have been most willing recently to take transfers.
Brown and Penn most active (in addition to Burkinshaw Penn also admitted a great FOGO transfer in 2019). Princeton, Harvard, and Dartmouth have not taken transfers in lax so far as I know other than the DIII Yager transfer to Harvard which maybe is considered differently by Harvard Admissions. Cornell has taken a transfer on occasion (Abladian in 2022). Yale had the hugely impactful TD transfer in 2019 but none I can recall before and none after (and has changed athletic directors so don’t know if it’s even possible.)

For what it's worth, in the twitter comments Xanders says this wasn't the case, and the two moves are independent of each other.

Ty is a good man, but I doubt Tillman would discuss the situation with him. It could be coincidental, of course, but no matter, I think the Terps come out far ahead here.

I don’t know why you are trying to will this into reality…Burlace will likely be the Terps top defender next year, he isn’t going anywhere. And Notre Dame can’t “make a play” unless the player enters the portal (he hasn’t), otherwise it is blatant tampering. BJ left because he wasn’t going to see the field at Maryland.

Hopfans right, you only get four years of actual on field play. Whether 21 was a med redshirt or not is irrelevant. 2020 was his free year and he used a RS in 21. Played in 22, 23 24 and now next season. Only chance he would have for another year would be if he got hurt pre-season or early next year and applied for another Med RS.

Logjam at attack. From what I was told SU nearly blew his redshirt his frosh year but decided against it. He ended up transferring to Maryland due to unrelated off the field stuff. Don't believe if he had played it would have made a difference.

I agree this is an odd comment on Colin. BJ transferred because he graduated. Guess ND had the grad degree he wanted and allowed him to be on a team with his younger brother. Doubtful they ever played on the same team give their ages.
Side note while a coach can’t talk to a player until their are in the portal I have heard rumors of NIL groups talking to players from other schools

You could be correct. All I know is what I was told, which was Cuse had 3 attack men with points returning in ‘18, and Desko told him he would not start over those three: Rehfuss, Solomon and Voight. But to be fair, I absolutely do not know anything more.

You could be correct. All I know is what I was told, which was Cuse had 3 attack men with points returning in ‘18, and Desko told him he would not start over those three: Rehfuss, Solomon and Voight. But to be fair, I absolutely do not know anything more.

Rhefuss, Solomon and Bomberry started at attack in 2018. Voight was a man-up specialist. You may be right, but I always thought that the understanding was Wisknaukus would start at attack in '18. It is what it is at this point and probably doesn't serve much purpose to relitigate players who aren't even playing college lacrosse anymore.
