BTW, I'll take Brett Martin over every other SDM in the country.
Don't know about that BUT he's become a lockdown guy. Definitely should be in the AA mix but probably won't be.
The rest of the SSDM group on the other hand...not a good day. Jaronski got cooked multiple times and the slide was too slow each time. That has got to get cleaned up. It goes without saying that you can't play like that against Virginia or it'll be another blowout.
Angelus with the quietest 8 point game in history.
Gotta give credit where it's due — nice game from Chauvette. English and Phillips didn't play. Don't think Kaufman did either.
Tyler Dunn gets my game ball though. 18/32 against a supposed 1st Team All-American.
12 out of 15 goals were assisted.
11 CTs for the Jays. DocB is fully torqued
Just as important as the CTs, Blue Jay defenders got on the hands of St. Joe’s shooters—at least enough to win the game. There is no way you can let St. Joe’s shooters get off clean shots and hope to prevail.

Hopkins goalie - noted by Quint played a high crease . Cutting off Lefty Canadians. Did a nice job.

Quint said 15 would not win it.
I heard him say that 17 would win it. But that is not the same as saying 15/16 won't win it.

On a side note, I’m likin’ the Dixon-QK announcing tandem. Dixon keeps the focus on the game, and I think he brings out the best in Quint’s color commentary.

Quint’s main point was right on … St. Joe’s is coming back, which they did. Great Hopkins defensive play saved the game in the waning seconds.

He said that too. He said 15 wouldn't win it.
Jays shot nearly 50% today. Hawks' goalies weren't very good but we were generating a lot of good looks and they were for the most part canning them. More work to do for sure but that's the sign of an offense that is finding its footing, which was absolutely necessary today given the D didn't have its best day.
Angelus, 8 pts
zero turnovers. Assist-to-turnover ratio through the roof

Collison with some stellar off-ball play and 2 goals, 1 assist. Has 10 goals on the season. Also sports a nifty 0.417 shooting percentage.
Think Collison may already be our best offensive midfielder (Angelus and Degnon are technically on attack this year).

Angelus quietly having a great start to the year averaging 4.4 points per game! Have to love that. Loved the teams pace today especially with 12-15 goals assisted. Also have to love the addition of Carson Brown I know Collison is the headliner but he has been spectacular in between the lines for the Jays! Let’s hope the UVA/Richmond game is close considering it’s a 6:00pm start. Also like the adjustment made to the emo unit they have seemed to find a flow now have to thinks it’s because the offense side is finally getting healthy!

He absolutely said that, said 15 isn't going to win it. When he did, I said 15 will win it because Princeton will just keep shooting themselves in the foot and taking lousy shots to boot. Was less than impressed with the Tigers. Good win for the Hop any way you look at it.

The boys better be in the ice bath tonight. Tuesday night will be here in a hurry. The game seemed awful chippy and the refs almost let it get out of hand. A lot of questionable calls against the Jays also.

Agree that the Jays are getting to ball much better than prior years, but looked to be having trouble scooping on the first try. Could have won even more GB's with a clean pickup.

Sorry, my bad, no stroke. The number 12 team in the country (who comes up with that?) didn't look like a top 15 team to me. Had a lot of chances to do something but blew many opportunities.
Sticking with the not impressed by Princeton, Georgetown gets their first win but I wouldn't say against a tough opponent.
Do appreciate the offer for assistance, thanks.

8-0 10 minutes into this game. Better buckle up for Tuesday cause it sure looks like the Cavs get to coast in this one.
