You don't care. You LOVE handouts, so long as they come at the hand of anyone with a R by their name.

Or do you think all the people in Rural America are self sufficient, and none of them are freeloaders?

Call me when your team cuts spending. You weren't born the last time a Republican President cut spending and the handouts you pretend to despise...I have NO IDEA why you keep falling for this.

When DeSantis wins? I"ll be on hand, once again, to make wagers with you that you never take. Because in your heart, you know full well these guys are full of it. They love socialism and handouts MORE than the Dems do.
Clumsy deflection. Who paid for Harvard Law ? I never claimed it was socialism.

And I never claimed DeSantis didn't pay for school.....now what?

As for who paid for Harvard law....wanna take a guess as to how much Federal money goes there every year?

But that still doesn't make it socialism. Privately owned, privately run.

I like that, for the fourth time now, you've ignored that DeSantis is nothing more than a Big Government virtue-signaler who will, like Trump, break out the checkbook and borrow Trillions to get the economy moving-----and then tell voters like you that the reason the economy is doing so well is "hard work".

Meanwhile, we're paying more to pay interest on our debt than we are on educating our kids. And voters like you don't care. It's sad.

Nope. Use. A. Dictionary.

Government owned & Government operated entity. That's it. That's socialism.

Pick a different word for what you actually mean. Use a dictionary.

What you REALLY mean is "freeloader": a person who takes advantage of others' generosity without giving anything in return.

As for his "scholarship" Where do you think that money came from? They sky? Missouri oak trees? That's STILL a burden on taxpayers.

And he, like you, was educated by Government Teachers. That's socialism, my man. Not my fault your crew has demonized the institution that set you up for life. I think it's great. I think your education is great.
And propping you a non revenue sport reason for taxpayer funding.

Having govt employees solicit money for personal gain is free riding. Don’t worry you’ll learn about it when Fox News starts using it for some mass up story or false flag situation the proactively amplified to their third eye popping out of the tinfoil hat, thought leader viewership.

He wa a just found out for using govt employees to solicit donations. A complete violation of the people he serves. Like now. But we kinda know some folks including ones here threw away their ethics and are pissing on their own reputations anyways so it’s kind of like Elon telling everyone else to cut their employees to make himself look better when a person who’s making a mudpie out of their own name defends others doing the same.

interested to know which one, which "violation".

AND.....isn't the principled practice around these here threads predicated judgement on arrests or indictments only ?

call back when someone gets "in trouble" for said "violations".

should I use MSN as the browser for violations. (sorry, the land of the "vague" is for lemmings and cell phone addicts )

NBC........more lame, vagueness "news"

Post by runrussellrun »

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-e ... -rcna86357

"10 lobbyists", eh. Guess, after I contact Matt Dixon and Jonathan Allen, to verify this claim.....along with contacting the "long time election lawyer", who, strangley, just can't be named either.

in the lead paragraph:

a breach of traditional norms that has raised ethical and legal questions and left many here in the state capital shocked.

"many", just can't name ONE source.

great stuff.

Did Disney pull the project, after losing it's Russian oligarch like tax savings stuff.

I think the good folks of Massachusettes would allow Disney to build on NoMan's island. Strangley empty, and with the "paycheck" class being squeezed off the Vineyard......Nantucket can't even house the help , so theres that.

Come on Maura.....make IT happen.

right on time......ND fighting irish (bigoted mascot, IMHO ) by 6. (by 6 what? so we can net move, like afan....never said they would win by 6, just would have something more, by 6.... )

IMHO, the NBC story is "mis" or "dis"

Post by runrussellrun »

yup, imho, I will report the NBC story as "mis", or "dis" information. We have US Federal government agencies that already have set up "rat lines", like the FDA's "rumor "....but, we digress.

Let's put the 4 sides , real life to the test on this "staff soliciting " .

The source, and "backbone" to this article are texts sent to "lobbyists" with pending bizness ....... sent from 4 "staff", 2 of which are "high " level. So vague, but lets say this IS true.

https://www.flgov.com/wp-content/upload ... 1-5-23.pdf

That is two, of 15, of the executive staff, one of the names being Ron himself, so we can most likely rule him out. 14.

Think the article referenced "decision makers", and I will clarify with the authors this weekend, one could gather that .

blah blah blah, perhaps Melisa Smith. ....maybe Chris Spencer ? ...blah blah (NBC, and all the usuals following up with this fear porn )

either way, not too hard to find out which lobbyist, on behalf of some RFP, or whatever " bidding " process name they want to use. b/c, guess what........they ain't getting that contract now, are you. Isn't that exactly what a politician would do ? at the very least.

that fat POS chrispy cream christy, shut down the entire NE corridor traffic, for lesser stuff.

Good job Ronnie D on anti ESG, their main utility (T&D sub of energy company) is the biggest clean energy player out there. So so very corrupt and short sighted.

Used to be known as Florida Power and Light

About NextEra Energy

NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE) is a leading clean energy company headquartered in Juno Beach, Florida. NextEra Energy owns Florida Power & Light Company, which is America’s largest electric utility that sells more power than any other utility, providing clean, affordable, reliable electricity to approximately 5.8 million customer accounts, or more than 12 million people across Florida. Good news.
If I’m Brian Kemp in cherry picking and recruiting the best teachers to GA. Would be a more profound “teabagging” of Florida than we did all those years damning up the Chattahoochie River. The adverse selection left behind will crush a generation who will be more reliant on the next Epstein.

Pitch?

“We shut down trump in the general election”

“We comp our teachers better”

“We have a city you want to live in compared with Miami, Orlando or Tampa”

“Our AG and other politicians have spines”

“The vast majority of the state dismisses MTG who’s got one foot in AL in her district”

This IS a good thing, yes ? Heard wallstreet banksters were shutting down Florida home owners insurance policies. Is this, that ?

https://flgov.com/2023/05/31/governor-d ... r-strikes/

ALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor DeSantis signed three bills that strengthen Florida’s property insurance market, expand the state’s home hardening and hazard mitigation programs, and further protect consumers against bad actors. These actions build on the Governor’s strong record of instituting meaningful reforms to Florida’s property insurance market. Additionally, Governor DeSantis is announcing the approval of an additional $100 million in the 2023–24 General Appropriations Act for the My Safe Florida Home Program which provides grants to Florida homeowners for hurricane retrofitting, making homes safer and more resistant to hurricane damage and bringing the state’s combined investment to $250 million over the past year.

“Since taking office, Florida has instituted a series of reforms to increase consumer choice and accountability in our insurance market,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “The bills I’ve signed today reinforce our commitment to Florida policyholders by investing in hazard mitigation programs and instituting a series of accountability measures that protect consumers from predatory insurer practices.”

What happened to TAATS? You understand this is a government press release, right?

You're just gonna take it at face value, and not apply your TinFoilHat reasoning to it? Follow the money, that sort of thing?

DeSantis gets a pass from RRR?! Awesome.
