Tyler Dunn had one hell of a quarter

Jays offense looking smooth with guys finally getting healthy. Not sure I would play zone D against this team

Love the Blue Jays’ aggressive D in the latter half of the first quarter. Good gb work.

St. Joe’s is a very good team. Would not take the foot off the pedal.

You absolutely can't lose #62. #8 and #62 are really the only guys that are going to hurt you.

This is an artillery battle.

Some blistering shots from both teams.

Just some dumb play the past few minutes. If you have a Evans/ Peshko/ Chauvette line, why is Chauvette initiating? Melendez has to stay out of the crease. Degnon needs to be more concerned with ball possession than running guys over. And how on earth does Raposo end up guarding #62 on the crease?

This is a dangerous St. Joe’s team. Can’t be sloppy against them.

First-time groundballs continue to be an issue. Just pick the ball up

St. Joe’s destroying the Blue Jays right now.

They looked mediocre early. I didn’t realize they travelled today. Looks like they have found their legs

This game is basically the lacrosse version of trench warfare. Teams are pretty even on gbs, and turnovers are hurting both teams. Goalies are being shredded.

Blue Jays earned a minimal lead.

This is a must-win game for the Blue Jays.

Second half could set the tone for the entire season.

Marcille needs to settle in. Think he's a little amped given he missed last week. Running all over the field like he's on meth

Not super impressed with St. Joe's' gamesmanship. It's giving off "this is our first rodeo" vibes.

Dunn has been terrific and is getting held on every single faceoff

One-and-a-half quarters of the best JHU lacrosse we've seen in awhile, followed by an unimaginably bad half-a-quarter. Thoughts:
- Dunn/ Hawley/ Mazzone FO unit by far the MVPs
- Scott Smith, best JHU defenseman since.....
- Collison's game getting more complete and confident every week
- Tossed away two certain goals with dropped feeds while wide open on the crease (Grimes and Bauer)
- We've become a very good clearing team. Imagine that.
- Would like to see Ince paired with Martin. Jaronski's effort is tremendous but his footwork just isn't there when he is iso'ed

Perhaps it was their SSDM celebrating his goal for about 15 minutes? All that was missing was the confetti drop.

That is St Joe’s MO, actually,

they’re always like that.

That’s not a bad response at all,
counter-punch.

I should have said, 4 straight goals.

Absolutely great EMO defense followed by some great team offense.

I love St. Joe’s savage style of play. They are the Visigoths. Blue Jays are the Romans fighting back hard.

Great effort by both teams.

Ref couldn't wait to throw that "taunting" flag on Szuluk. Chirps have been going both ways all game. Zebra had to get on TV

Cross check high in the middle of the field. Blue Jays cannot get that sloppy.

Marcille making some key saves. EMO defense outstanding.
