What that is becomes very obvious. Republicans are inspired by Democrats and their boorish behavior and are trying desperately to emulate the other party. :D

Comer offered, on national tv (FNC), to come before the Oversight Comm, open up his books for them, & answer any questions about his business & finances, ...if Hunter & Jim Biden would do the same. He also invited the media to join him in KY for a tour of his farm & land holdings.
I hope they take him up on it.

Comer loves to dish out the bs.

Can’t take it though.

His family dealings are likely a nothing burger. But so is his Biden crime family meme-ing.

Surprised he did not challenge the Smurf guy to rassle.

If they did the same you and released all Biden financial paperwork?

TeamTinFoil (big drumroll) wouldn't change one single opinion you hold that the Deep State, led by your own Republican party appointees, is protecting the Biden family's (checks notes) multi-trillion dollar payout from "Ukraine".

Nothing will stop you. Nothing will change your opinion. Trying to hand you facts is completely pointless. We've tried-----for years now. Nothing works.

So please, by all means, tell us more about your conspiracy theory of the week. Substack is handing out a free "TeamTinFoil" coffee mug to for fabricating the "best conspiracy of the week". Good luck!

Finally ! It looks like Comer & the IRS WB's have lit a fire under Weiss. No wonder Abbe's slap-suing everybody he can.

https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/16/politics ... index.html

useful specifics not included in sympathetic msm reports :
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news ... nter-biden

A yearslong investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes may be entering a new phase as prosecutors for special counsel David Weiss gather evidence in California.

A grand jury in Los Angeles has begun issuing subpoenas to people connected to Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including James Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, CNN reported Thursday.

The news comes shortly after the U.S. attorney for the Central District of California, Martin Estrada, told Congress in a closed-door interview that Weiss had called him in September for reasons that Estrada declined to share with lawmakers, according to a transcript of the interview reviewed by the Washington Examiner.

IRS whistleblowers disclosed in the spring that investigators had long considered bringing charges against Hunter Biden of tax crimes committed in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, but the whistleblowers claimed Weiss faced roadblocks in bringing those charges because they occurred in California. Prior to his appointment as special counsel in August, Weiss did not have the authority to indict Hunter Biden outside his jurisdiction in Delaware.

Estrada, a Biden appointee, did not agree to partner with Weiss on the case in California when Weiss asked him to do so last year.

Months earlier, Weiss had asked the Justice Department for the power to charge Hunter Biden outside Delaware, but he did not receive it. Weiss told the House Judiciary Committee last week that he believed he would have had the authority if he'd made the final decision to proceed with an indictment; the whistleblowers have said no indictment ever came because Weiss lacked the authority.

The recent grand jury activity in California is not the first time Weiss’s team has conducted investigative activity in the Los Angeles area, where Hunter Biden has lived for several years.

In April 2021, for example, IRS investigators used a conference room in the California U.S. attorney’s office to interview the accountant who helped Hunter Biden prepare his taxes for some of the years in question, documents released by the House Ways and Means Committee show.

Attorneys for Hunter Biden and James Biden did not return requests for comment.

Weiss’s decision to continue the tax investigation after the collapse of a plea deal this summer comes as Hunter Biden’s defense team mounts an aggressive effort to paint him as beholden to political pressure.

Abbe Lowell, Hunter Biden’s lawyer, asked a court this week to subpoena former President Donald Trump and other former Justice Department officials for documents that could help Lowell build a defense strategy around the idea that the Trump DOJ set in motion a biased investigation of Hunter Biden for the purposes of taking out his father.

Lowell has also publicly claimed that Weiss only scrapped the plea deal and brought separate gun charges against his client in Delaware because the IRS whistleblower testimony led to Republican calls for Hunter Biden to receive harsher treatment.

Yeah, let's burn up a lot of government resources pursuing a guy who has now paid all his back taxes. You know, treat him like a criminal when similar individuals are only dealt with civilly. Great way to run a railroad.

The IRS is pretty good when it comes to treating American citizens like criminals. I don't he should go to jail for his crimes. If HB wants to plead guilty to the appropriate charges that is fine by me. Does paying back all the taxes he owed include interest and penalties?

Can't wait for Trump to take office, and watch him find toadies to investigate everyone and everything......all while the working class can't eat well, afford a house, or a trip to the doctor.

That's ok, maybe the NEXT Republican POTUS will stop with the shiny objects, and work to help the people who voted for them.

Naaaaaaaaah.

So an FBI agent corroborated the WB claim that HB was given advance notice of an upcoming visit from the FBI to answer some questions. Hunter certainly was smarter than Michael Flynn. When the FBI starts asking questions that is the time to dummy up. Funny thing that HB wasn't around that day when the FBI stopped by. ;) That is simply a coincidence nothing to do with being tipped off to an upcoming visit.

Not specific details, but CNN reports he paid all the back taxes. Not clear to me if that includes penalties and interest.

Here’s one source I found:

https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing ... rand-jury/

Even the New York Post says he paid his taxes.

He paid off "a" tax liability @ March of 2022, before the IRS WB's came forward with more compete evidence.

Biden & the Dems want to spend billion$ hiring more IRS auditors & investigators to recover unpaid taxes from cheats & scofflaws.

How 'bout following through on those already on the job ?

The whistleblower stuff is simply their allegations. Not clear if Weiss even agrees with their arguments. Let’s see what he does.
