Logical fallacy. Did you spend the night at Doc B's last night? That's the kind of silly argument he would project.

Youth: you don't understand how Democrats view Presidents.

First and foremost, Presidents to Democrats are establishment father figures (similar ironically to how Russians view their presidents; read this article and substitute 'Obama' for Putin and you'll understand: https://www.newsweek.com/2014/12/05/put ... 86464.html ). Naturally a Dem will say 'but Trump', failing to understand that 'Trump' (and the adulation of him) is less about a father figure and way more a metaphor for sticking it to the establishment; Trump is not the establishment by any stretch nor is he anyone's father figure.

Second and nearly as importantly, they assume that Presidents 'create' jobs, not the people who actually create jobs, entrepreneurs. This shows a fundamental disconnect with capitalism, and why (as I repeat too often) Democrat policies are the antithesis of what America is all about.

It's an odd thing to read anyone who thinks a President 'created' a job; its' amusing and scary at the same time.

The best thing a President can do for actual job creators is get out of the way. Too often, they don't.

Obama is responsible for all of 4 jobs in his entire life; those are the cooks and cleaners in his various houses. However, Obama is a net job destroyer, since he utilizes the services of taxpayer-paid (that is, it comes out of your pocket, not his) Secret Service employees numbering 12. Obama's post-presidency life has been about one thing: fattening his own bank account, and that's fair; really, who cares if people are dumb enough to pay to listen to him give a speech.

Meanwhile, CU77 thinks Obama created jobs.

What nonsense. Trump has been trumpeting how many jobs he (and Ivanka!) have created for some time.

Most Ds would not say any president "created" the jobs - but helped to guide the conditions conducive to job creation. You really have a misinformed and warped opinion of those who are not in your tribe. I guess it is the way you deal with the cognitive dissonance...

The only time Bill Gates crosses my mind, is when you mention him. You are fixated.

My beef with Trump is he fumbled the response - and that means that the death toll we are likely to see is orders of magnitude above what it would be if he had taken decisive action early (but was too concerned with how it would wreck the only thing he could sell for re-election - the economy). We could have had less than 10K deaths at this point if the federal government had launched a massive response early.

And he continues to screw it up.

He should have ramped up testing earlier - and used more than just the CDC to get things going (in late January). Screening in airports for all international arrivals, same time frame.

PPE supplies - start production earlier, use federal law to force earlier.

Do things correctly and you don't have the kind of shut downs we have now. That does not mean we escape unharmed, or that we would not have economic effects. And we still would be forced to practice SD, and modify behavior. But the current administration clusterf**k is actually holding us back. They have continually intervened with their own experts to minimize the problem.

Trump still keeps saying this will magically go away. Thinks daily testing in the WH is bad because one day someone passes a test and the next day they don't. Gotta be one of the densest statements made by any president EVER. But of course this is the guy who wanted to keep a cruise line offshore so the US "numbers" would not look bad.

And you continue to spout out about that no one could have done it correctly. Blame someone else when the problem mostly is sitting in the White House.

You keep screaming about BS.

All those jobs President Obama created are gone.

Here are CU77's words: "All those jobs President Obama created are gone."

Could you let me know how else to interpret that?

Also, anyone who supports Trump is in on the joke and laugh alongside him. What Democrats do is what CU77 did; they actually think he created jobs.

Actually, that's CU88, not 77...two different guys.
You didn't understand the sarcastic tongue-in-cheek?
Obama never made such a claim of he, himself, and I creating jobs.
Trump constantly does exactly so.
Thus the sarcasm.

But ahh, you Trump supporters think he's just joking?
Try telling him that...

Give me an example of me mentioning any of them or deflecting when they are brought up. Just an example.....Just keep Trump’s name out cha mouth then and it won’t be pointed out that Defending him is a choice.

Your defense is tacit btw. You are like a defender in front of a goalie!
