You have to ask yourself, why are Trump supporters pushing so desperate to get Biden replaced? Wouldn't they just be happy running against the guy vs someone younger that they have little time to make up dirt on?

More jobs, easier to get around in flyover country?

This is Biden, folks. Would be nice to, for the very first time, hear one of the Forums Republicans give this stuff a thumbs up.

Naaaah. He's old. Can't talk about the good things he's done, right?
...because the CA high speed pork barrel boondoggle destroyed all confidence in high speed rail in the US.

This upgrade of the Raleigh to Boston existing line should have been the lead project.

Oh, that's easy to fix: call the California High Speed rail the "Department of Defense transit project".

Then you won't notice it's over budget. Or that he DoD auditor "can't find Los Angeles". Or that it can't pass an audit. Or that the end project doesn't work like so many DoD projects. Heck, call it "Star Wars High Speed Rail, and name the stations after Reagan.

We can go negative like this all day long. Or, you can simply say that even the most conservative of conservatives like infrastructure spending, and give Biden an "attaboy", since he didn't have thing one to do with California government miscues.

Your choice.
Sure, Conservatives approve of projects that make sense & are actually possible to complete.

Keep harping on DoD bean counting, while the world stands in line to buy the weapons we developed & purchased, faster than we can produce them.

We're diverting Patriot interceptors to Ukraine from allies who have contracted to purchase them, ...they'll have to wait.

How did Macron like losing the nuc sub contracts to AUKUS ?
The world stands in line for a lot of things we decide to produce.

Right now, the Chinese and Germans are world leaders in high speed rail. Japanese good too. We just haven't decided to be a world leader. Instead we half-a-s every project, which leads to massive cost over runs and very little learning curve effect.

At least with the defense overruns, which too are massive, we are committed to the whole production cycle, learning curve etc.

How old is Trump, again? And how often do the words out of his mouth make ANY sense?

They're going to hammer Trump for this same stuff for the next four years.

And you guys are gonna do the EXACT thing you're complaining about here: you're going to gaslight the rest of us Americans who don't support Trump, and tell us Trump's fine, and we're crazy for calling it out.
The media has been doing it to Trump since 2015. The public gets it.

The media has finally been embarrassed into covering Biden. The public sees the difference & is responding accordingly.
The media has been hitting Biden for age for YEARS. YEARS. Want me to pull up the cites? Year. How the F do you think folks have polled so high for their concern of Biden's age.

This is nothing but gaslighting from your RightWingFeed.

Reagan had Alzheimer's in office. No one cared. Hitting Biden for being a doddering old man is about little D's, not being unfit for office. Because if it was about age and not making sense in speeches? The story would be "Both Trump and Biden are old....and both have made speeches that don't make sense."

And no, the RightWing public does NOT get it with Trump. Because if you and your buds did? You wouldn't have even NOTICED that Biden sometimes makes as little sense as Trump did.....instead?

You get nonstop stories about Biden in RightWingMedia....and not one single story about Trump's nonsensical speeches in the same media feed.

So these voters are convinced the Dems are insane to support Biden....yet Trump is awesome.

As usual, the Dems have the high ground. They openly admit the Biden problem. The Republicans? Oh, not only is everything fine with Trump and his word salad speeches? Everything is AWESOME with Trump and his word salad speeches.

It's why he's going to blow Biden's doors off. Republican voters are lost at sea, and you know it. You ready for your tax cuts, and for your stocks to explode in value as Trump borrows his way to an awesome economy....and then claims that hard work is what did it?

 Right. Republicans are perfect, there's no pork, and the Dems ruin everything.

Is your plan to go full on Pete for the next several years? Be a partisan...fine. But dude, this is just toddler stuff. You know doggone well your party has just as much grift, pork, and BS as the Dems. Just stop it.

I'm not harping on DoD bean counting. I'm harping on YOUR POSTS, where you don't give a sh(t about careful spending or pork or waste that dwarfs even the most wasteful spending the rest of the government can find....simply because it's hidden under the rubric of the DoD.

So yeah, I'm serious....move our transportation infrastructure to the DoD....and Old Salt won't ever...not once...complain about cost overruns, wasteful spending, or the laughable inability to pass an audit, or so much as find BILLIONS of dollars of equipment we're supposed to have, yet can't freaking find. You don't care, because it's your crew. And your crew can do no wrong.

That's right. And remind me: which poster is the guy who has been against "arming some guy" since the Forum started?

If I was in charge, the Patriots and every other asset would be protecting our troops and our treaty bound allies. Just like the Constitution

At SOME POINT, you can give me a tip of the cap for this stance, no? Or is it that hard for you to do that?

I think you're referring to Joe as that 'guy in the stands', whereas natty is indeed "until the final whistle". That's the way I was taught to play and wrestle as well. It ain't over until it's over.

What some folks don't seem to understand is that from the perspective of whole lot of Dems and "RINO's" and independents, the stakes are extremely high. No greater single domestic political concern in our adult lifetimes than the defeat of Trump and MAGA. Big deal. BIG. And that feels all the more relevant on July 4th.

That said, excellent advice to us all in your last sentence, though be careful that butt smack is received as affectionately as you presumably mean it. ;)

We're in our home here in MD for just 6 more days, so last 4th here...family, burgers and dogs, baked beans, corn on the cob, salad...and some cold ones for sure!

Enjoy your family time, youth, and pop a cold one for us all.

So no answer or guesses to why Republicans are pushing Joe to step away when they think he's gonna lose by a landslide?

And when I call for a ward from the bench, the refs know I'm normally right. They're usually about to blow the whistle anyway 😉 happy 4th indeed!

Well said.
Nattyboh is seeing red...all the time, can't even see other colors: https://www.google.com/search?q=how+man ... s-wiz-serp
You're not curious why Republicans are pushing so hard for Biden to be replaced? When he's supposed to lose by a landslide in November?

Can you google that for me?

 Last I checked, this is a sports themed forum and you fight like hell until the final whistle. You sound like the guy in the stands yelling "wheels" and "that's a ward" ;)

Go have a nattyboh and a hot dog, give the wife a smack on the butt and tell her you love as you pop your beer. Happy Fourth!!

And thanks to all who participate on here constructively.
Where ya headed MD?
Florida, east coast, 40 minutes north of Palm Beach on the St. Lucie River.
Same golf and yachting community we began to join my mother at during Covid.
Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club
She needs the oversight now and the community is terrific.
Audubon award winning, Distinguished Clubs of America, 2 golf courses for 800 doors, so always a tee time: marina, tennis, pickle, etc .

Much more green space and wetlands protection, bird sanctuary than typical Florida clubs.

Great 'dog park' too for folks like Salty and cradle.

But big downsizing!

We'll get back for various events, but won't own anything up here.
We'll get further up north for summers and hope to spend much more time traveling in summer.
This year on Cape Cod for niece's wedding and hang with wife's family, a cruise to Bermuda, 2 weeks at Squam Lake in NH, and then up through Canada to Quebec City for 5 days, cruise to PEI, Nova Scotia, back down through Maine...next summer Europe trip for most of the summer hopefully. I'm not a fan of big boat causing, so this is a bit of stretch for me this summer.
