It's amazing they put Darby back in instead of seeing what one of the two young guys can do. Petro is coaching like he doesn't expect (or want?) to be here next year.

From the Syracuse bench: "so easy!". So true

Anemic offense continues. With Joey not at 100% we have no one that can get to the goal or threaten a slide, even. And now we can't clear! Playing too much D. For SU, if it's on, it's in ;)

No issue with clears when Giacalone in there. Darby in and clears are an issue. Dude just doesn't get the ball out of his stick quick enough. It is Mackey Sasser like.

Now the zone. Doesn't matter when your G can't stop anything from 10+

How do you not get Gainey or Marcille out there? How?!

The last nine quarters, Hopkins has given up
7 goals once.
6 goals 4 times
4 goals 3 times
3 goals once.

But, hey, let's just keep doing the same things.

We haven't been able to Clear in a couple of years. Today should be no surprise.

Never seen Petro pull a goalie so quickly.

Smacks of panic.

First quarter.
Good-are you nuts?
ok-see above
bad-see above
really really bad
-the heart of this team. No fight. Forry is a 2 time captain of 2 teams that just don't fight or compete.
-connor. Kid gets into a great school, probably gets $10-20k a year to come, 2 times a game he runs at the net and passes. bench him.
-cole, no evolution to his game.
really really really bad.
-prouty/narewski not winning anything.
-hubler beaten almost every time
-reinson, has never seen a ground ball he could pick up.
whatever's beneath that
-goaltending, defense, everything else on offense, clearing, leadership. so many of these kids have been garbage as players for weeks.

Angelus either scores or assists every time he touches the ball.

Angelus needs more touches.

Midfielders making it happen; keep attacking their shorties, especially with no Peter Dearth.

Good, he should panic. Hopkins has never been 1-4; it would be the nadir of this program

I do not understand these dumb penalties. A bunch of smart guys should not be getting 1 minute penalties every game. Just playing out of control, or just not smart.

True, but we just missed a point blanker, call it even :)

So, naturally, he hasn't touched the ball since.

No chance in this game (or this season) without at least seeing what Gainey or Marcille can offer in goal.

I bet you a ton of money that won't happen unless we are talking garbage time in a game.
