One of the announcers commented that "Blanchard is probably the best FOGO in the BIG 10" We knew that he is one of the best in the game when he was at Hobart. tOSU isn't same same without him. Thought Myers played a bit too much "me ball" A lot of guys open and he just hangs onto the ball.
He's missed the last 2 weeks. I'd say they really need him this Friday.

Penn State lost 5 one goal games last year,
and they upset Yale,

maybe there were indications last year that they weren’t
that bad.

Maybe.

But they were certainly worse in conference than out of conference last year.

Michigan beating Maryland was huge for them. However, beating a win-starved Rutgers team on Friday night away from home, giving them back-to-back conference wins for the first time ever, would be even bigger.

The big story is that they smoked Maryland on the road. Period.

Hopkins field continues to look like trash. Maybe Rosemont will place a call to their Baltimore outpost and tell them to get their act together ahead of next months festivities.

Who is the new commissioner going to be?

good night for rutgers winning while osu/loyola/unc all fell.

osu/maryland was pretty heated. that rematch in the big ten tournament would be buzzing if osu can win faceoffs to give itself a chance.

I’ll watch on the off chance Myers loses his shite. That was amusing tonight. Fine example for his team.

Glove Gate was a hilarious spectacle.

I don’t have a dog in this fight and I always liked Tillman but last night was the epitome of hypocracy.

If Tillman would have said so what if my face-off guy is winning 90% I want the ball and 100% is better that 90% so I do what I have to do to win. I know the rules and will use them to win regardless how esoteric of BS they may be. If you, Myers or anyone else doesn’t like it too bad because we got the win.

That may be a hard a$$ approach but at least it is an honest one and it was the one that he took last night.

Tillman’s Ned Flanders/Gomer Pyle act on the last face-off of the game of:

well you know, I just sort of suggested to the ref that isn’t there possibly of some type of rule that you may to look up? Shazam you mean Ohio State looses possession, well I’ll be darned! Imagine that! Aw shucks, I would have shook Myers hand but I got called for this interview, yuk, yuk, yuk.

Let's see if Hopkins-Penn State makes it a trifecta of great Big Ten games this weekend!

No more exciting conference at the present time. And one must remember that multiple teams probably have their best moments under their current coaches yet to come.

Is the gloves thing just a one game issue? Penn State players were wearing different color gloves against Hopkins but refs didn’t say anything.
