wgdsr wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 9:43 am great, thanks. you think garbage masks work as good policy. i don't. at least we got that out of the way.

btb, it's nothing about the positions you take.

it's also a thread called all things coronavirus. i realize at times and maybe to you it's all about yelling at the folks that yell about vaccines. so again, if it's a discussion you feel is inconsequential, you can beg out. so we both have "something to work on".
Where did I ever say that garbage masks work as good policy?

I think masks (and other efforts) that work are all a part of good policy.

Trouble is we have a lot of idiots who won't follow good policy.

If you were in congress, would you have voted to re-stock our N95 stockpile after the swine flu?
well, our policy is that using garbage masks is fine. which has been a large portion of the problem in my eyes. so what might come from this if nothing is done about it (e.g. dpa's on production)?

that policy may never be able to change. you can't just switch a light on. bring on the hypothetical of a deadlier variant and our pants are down around our ankles. we couldn't even get freakin' toilet paper for a month. but you and i will be cool because we're stockpiled. sweet.

maybe i'll be surprised and once accomplished, we'll hear about our readiness in due time.

Your the science denier. Yeah, natural immunity is a "conspiracy theory".

Think the dude, like most normals, was seeking SOLUTIONS to our problems.

You just wanna keep on pointing out, that there is one.

his ask was beyond normal..........you just wanna b...not solve.
Natural immunity is great... For those who don't die or face long term issues. How about you go tell the family members of the dead and suffering that yourself?

The better solutions are already at your local pharmacy. And in our hospitals
you mean the families that are getting $20k for a "covid" funeral expense? When aunt timmy was SO sick.....we couldn't take care of her.......so aunt timmy died alone in a nursing homes

you mean THOSE family members?

Hears a hint......don't be fat.

Iceland wants its citizens to catch Covid.

Widespread societal resistance to Covid-19 is the main route out of the epidemic,” the health ministry said in a statement, citing infectious disease authorities.

It added that to achieve widespread societal resistance, which is also referred to as “herd immunity”, “as many people as possible needed to be infected with the virus as the vaccines are not enough, even though they provide good protection against serious illness
”.

ooh, ooh, can we also choose not to be old?

It's your god-given right as an American to be as fat and stupid and lazy as you want! Right wingers and libertarians say so! And if we try to say kids should eat healthier, then the outrage machine kicks into full gear and spits and sputters "MUH RIGHTS!!!"

We already have the solutions to COVID.

Wut?!?

In Florida, the state surgeon general (R) posts a reminder tweet every week to get outside and exercise.

Here was his first.

There even a new state website overseen by, yup again, Republicans about healthier living and diet:

young, white males.........killing themselves at epidemic levels........BUT masks...

We already have the solutions to COVID.
covid survivors should be forced to take a drug that does NOT do what it said it would do in it's FDA application.

can't sue anyone about it.........so just force other humans to take a shot that clearly, doesn't work.

Less sick? Dude, I was laid up for 3 days.........that seems pretty "less severe", yes?

It's all so simple, stop mandates for a drug that doesn't work. ESPECIALLY, for those that have natural immunity. Or, right, science

COVID doesn't affect kids...

At least 5.2 million children have lost a parent or caretaker to Covid-19, study estimates

"While beyond the scope of the study, real-time data using the same model suggest that the number of kids who lost a parent or caregiver is around 6.7 million as of January.'

"kids can adapt" "kids don't mind".
don't you keep reading comments on this website ;)

let me ask you a question, a lil experiment.

take a group of 10 people, ALL wearing masks. None of you have met before, so you have no idea how anyones voice sounds.
go ahead......start learning. but.....kids can adapt and learn with masks on.

lots of orpans in the world. be a hero and be a parent to them.

and ...so what.....at this point, only the unvaxxed are dying, and we all know how most feel about the "unvaxxed" around this hear parts........so principled. Orphan kid of mouthbreathers.....good. Ain't that write, tld, DocB, Cu88, matnum, etc.

“CoronaVac” just sounds like a Chinese knock off. When it comes to audio equipment, never buy Chinese.

Interesting information.

Curious, the exclusion of infected people, NOT vaccinated at all....serves what purpose?

Serious question, if someone gets a covid shot, say in Costa Rica, does that allow me to eat in a restuaurant now? Or, do you only have to have the ones approved , hear, in the USA ? I want the shot Gal Gadot got.

There is a gaggle of old attorneys that used to have a standing lunch in the cafe I ate at pre COVID-19. One of the attorneys had served during the Korean war. He married a Korean woman and they went back for the first time in 2018/19. He marveled at it. Never been to Asia. Maybe one day. Got a few places I will get to first. May put it on the planner.
