This is one place where I agree with Old Salt. Well, sort of, anyway: I have no interest in watching EU citizens enjoying free health care and training/University, while we pay to protect them.

The part that Vance, Trump, and Old Salt aren't telling Americans is: if the EU's increase their military spending to the levels in the NATO charter....will American cut it's military spending?

Old Salt....floors yours. Tell us. Who here wants to wager that the answer is "no, we need to INCREASE military spending".

And when you understand that, you understand that this is simply another Republican wedge issue, and they are LYING when they claim that we are paying to protect the EU. The EU has NOTHING to do with how much Republicans ALWAYS want to spend on the military....."More".

Which is fine, I actually don't have a problem with that. The part that I DO have a problem with is: we borrow money to pay for it, and we screw our citizens by not offering single payer health care and free training/university like the dreaded "Euroburgers" do.
