I'm just super mad that they got rid of Petro and hired Milliman in the fall of 2016 and he totally ran off that Connor Shellenberger kid from the 2020 recruiting class.

Final Summary point - I don't know Milliman - never met him. I understand he has a reputation of not being Mr. Warmth. I am sure he has also made many mistakes to date. But at the same time he wasn't dealt the strongest starting hand and then totally screwed it up. '06 thinks he has had plenty of time to get this right - I think it has just started. I don't agree with the scheduling to a degree (not the end of the world but a different tactic may be more successful) and I certainly think when you're down by 9 in the 4th you should be playing anybody and everybody. A relatively healthy squad can defeat Utah and St. Joe's - not saying they will but its possible. I really like at least 2 of next year's recruits - their skill sets are amongst the most needed for this program.

Does anyone know if any Milliman Cornell recruits chose to go with him to Hopkins? I'm sure somebailed on Cornell.

Wong and Charboneau in the class of 21 and Billings in the class of 22.

Phillips was a flip from Vermont, and English flipped from Brown.

Will Peden Malvern Prep was originally a Hopkins commit,
the impression was he was Penn State from the get go,
guess not.

They're going to start selling beer at Homewood for lacrosse games starting with the St. Joe's game in a couple weeks. Sounds like it'll be a designated beer garden area by the food trucks

does this include the big ten tournament?

As far as I can remember, it will be the first time they have served beer at Hopkins games. Someone can help me out. Did they serve beer at events like the Lax Classic?
Way back when I was in middle school and admission was free, high school and college students used to bring their own beer to games. More recently—70s or 80s—it was easy to consume alcohol that you brought into the stadium. Now drinkers get kicked out.
It will be interesting to see how long the lines are.

I don’t believe beer has ever been sold

There used to be a thriving underground activity taking in bourbon, bloody marys, orange blossoms most prominently. Electric brownies avoided airborne give aways. You could have pizza or other food delivered.

That stopped, sort of, when a group of townies or pledges placed a lot of oranges in the stadium before a game day. Hopkins was playing Cuse. The oranges got tossed onto the field. Soon they tried to stop it. Food vendors were brought in. Previously there was one station selling “death” dogs. The trade in alcohol was slowed but never stopped. Ingenuity . Short version

Absolutely beer was served back in my day. Under the temporary bleachers.
