Brooklyn wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 8:55 pm There is a news report out which says Kim's reps in his failed talks with Trump have been detained or croaked by the dictator. Makes you wonder if Trump is still in love with him.
And you all call Trump a dictator. With examples of real ones–like Kim–all over the globe!
Trump's a wannabe.
That's the issue.
A wannabe? Hes the most powerful man in the world President of the United States. A wannabe? Like I said you people are way gone. You've lost track of reality.
wannabe dictator.
Thankfully that's not yet the case.

Forum right wingers sure were especially generous with their epithets about Obama back in the old forum - a fact they have conveniently forgotten.

As I heard it, the Dossier was ordered by a Rep. Primary candidate who stiffed the broker when he folded out of the race, and HRCs team bought the product for a discounted price mostly out of curiosity. Did I hear wrong?

NK has yet to honor its first commitment from Singapore. Reportedly the USA gave conversions behind the scenes to get Kim to show for the photo op.,

Funny how right wing delusionals continue to attack AOC and Bernie as "socialists" but side step the matter of Trump's love affair with murderous dictator Kim.

Some truthful comments about Kim and the Warmbier matter:

I can well imagine what the righties would be saying about Obama if he was the one who kissed up to that murderer.

Trump’s in Japan insisting Obama was desperate to have such magnificent meetings with Kim. Everyone knows he’s lying as he speaks. Find the clip of Ivanka trying to join a conversation of world leaders. The French government just released it. Christine Lagarde’s expression says it all.

Yes. Fusion GPS didn't hire Steele until he was getting paid by the HRC/DNC law firm.
The (R} backer dropped it when it became obvious Trump would win the nomination, before Steele even started his work.

Trump was lying his butt off about Obama and Kim meeting.

The fact is since Trump has started to try and punch above his weight class NK has not given up one weapon, has expanded its capabilities and improved its facilities.

Reportedly Trump made concessions to NK to get the meeting/photo op

Dictators treated Trump like it’s Beach Week at Prep. They all put Friends of Donald in their yearbook bios.

Jared’s plan or Ivanka’s? Bolton got shipped to Mongolia so he couldn’t watch the surrender. Does Kim get a float in the parade too?

This sounds......iffy. It is clear that the process of Fusion/GPS retaining Steele were put into motion well before Trump emerged as a viable, let alone likely, GOP candidate.

The source of OPPO research is murky, sure, but should we believe that Steele had his dossier all done and looking for a buyer before Trump was the presumed GOP candidate?

Why would HRC commission OPPO research on DJT before he emerged as a force in the general? I mean.....why?

I find that my occams razor explanation just works better. And I've seen no research that implies otherwise.

Fusion had been hired to get information on Trump during the primaries by a Republican media firm, Washington Free Beacon. When Trump became the Republican nominee, the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party began picking up the tab for the Fusion research. Fusion owner Glenn Simpson hired Steele, a Russia expert, to gather information from his sources in Russia.

During the 2016 Republican presidential primaries, the leaders of the conservative news outlet Washington Free Beacon hired a private intelligence company, Fusion GPS, to conduct research into the candidates, including Trump. Early in the year, the Free Beacon's interest in the work lapsed.

So by "early March," Fusion GPS approached the law firm Perkins Coie, which represents the Democratic National Committee, offering to continue its investigations into Trump. In April, the law firm agreed, and it began to underwrite the investigation.

Why is this important? After Fusion GPS was initially hired by conservatives, Democrats paid for the phase of the work that included the compilation of the dossier.

More of a reed herring than anything but the right keeps hoping it will stick. Anything to bail out Putin.

The investigation into Trump Russia was not initiated because of the dossier. It was begun because of intel from Australian intelligence sources. The dossier was given to McCain not the democrats who turned it over the FBI.

McCain was a turncoat and the guy passing along the dossier knew it!

McCain listened to Senator Lindsey Graham, who recommended he call the FBI.
