Seems pretty obvious he’s talking about how even the SU-UVA series is. In the 36 games played between the two they are 18-18 and each has scored 466 goals apiece not to mention the fifth straight one goal game. Can’t get any closer than that.

Aiken, Kraus, Moore get most of the goals but sitting in the Dome I was really impressed with middie #22 Ryan Conrad. Seemed like he was in on everything. 7 GB to lead the team and 2 goals to boot. Big game #22
thx, ardilla. always like your stuff and love of the game. what he said. whether the teams are 11-2 vs 8-7, it turns out to be a bar room brawl.
no need to get your panties in a bunch B1G guys.

and conrad is a handful. don't say that often about miaa guys. i believe this is the first game this year they let him loose, for some reason. hopefully not the last.
What did I tell you..... tough as nails.

Very humorous!!! Your last line says it all............... Why do they even care on a Virginia thread and NO, we aren't talking about the Big 10.

So did Lars plan for the goalies to split halves or did he pull Burkinshaw? Both goalies ended up giving up 7 goals, Burkinshaw had 6 saves and Rode had 4. I'm fine with splitting halves but based on what I saw, Burkinshaw maybe had on he would have wanted back, of sure I would have yanked him.

I imagine you would have had a reasonable argument 10 or 20 years ago when UVa and Syracuse were regularly in the top 5. but now you are just pissing in the wind.

You have your own little sandbox over on thesabre, where you have chased off most of the fans of other teams, but here you will just have to learn to deal with fans of other teams.

Lean to the left or lean to the right? The two goalies bring opposite dominant hands to their game so maybe we will see more of this shared situation in the future. Might throw off shooters a bit, eh?

Actually, we miss PLB's insight on the Sabre and would gladly welcome you back, Cooter. That doesn't mean we are always going to agree! Sadly, Maryland moved conferences, the rivalry is done or postponed and today's ACC isn't the old ACC. PLB, apparently left of his own accord. he certainly wasn't pushed out.

I don't always agree but certainly think you generally provide very informed discussion and you have no hidden agenda as to where you stand. Am sorry about the Sabre. Sometimes heated discussions go awry. Maybe, give it another try if inclined. I would be interested in your unbiased view of the 3-2 Virginia program going forward in the 3rd year of Tiffany. It has seemed a rocky start to me. I also realize you wont sugar coat it.

HUH ? After watching and rewatching his attempted decapitation of RC, I must have been so disgusted, that I may have "accidentally" misspelled that innocent chap's, name.NB...The question mark indicates I wasn't sure of the spelling. Further, I added his number.

Right, another "attempted murder" in a contact sport on a lacrosse field....did you catch the penalty on the big hit on Kennedy?

All I NOSE is that the Carrier Dome is a damn fine venue. Very impressed with the Syracuse fans. They understand the sport...perhaps better than most. My flight plan was kiboshed. We to drive to Victor...stay with my nephew. Went to the game, drove back to Victorspent the night then drove southeast...with a celebratory hangover.

Hell of a game.

I dunno about the Sabre, but you do tend to lead with your chin, Cooter.
Picking fights when it really isn't necessary.

This was a perfect example.
The commenters were just being enthusiastic about a great rivalry, one that rarely disappoints in terms of close, exciting contests.
It was a statement of mutual respect and appreciation.

Why pick a fight.

Could be because this is the guy who goes completely ape**** if he thinks someone disrespected his family name. Dung is rather foul and out line I would think.
How bout that unnecessary roughness penalty (same as Bomberry's) on Greco on the hit on Kennedy? Pretty vicious, eh? No need for comment on that one, I guess, just a pretty rough play in a contact sport played on a lacrosse field.

Murder? I must have missed it. ;) We watched one hell of a game. Our first foray to The Carrier Dome...a terrific venue. The Syracuse fans we spoke with both are both enthusiastic and understand the game well.

I missed it, but someone else can comment.
As a father whose son suffered 3 lax concussions, I take a tough view of any head hunting hits.
But yes, it's a rough sport and there's going to be contact.

But really, I think we can chill a bit on getting worked up when someone is making a little fun.
