From the scrimmages, they mixed 1,44, and 33 in with 7, and 40. So I think we will see 6-7 middies getting similar time.
40,7,14,1,44,33,9 and maybe some 22

I think 52 will get mixed in with the attack. They also seem to like 2 (he has been on a lot of the emo)

But what do I know. Some coaches use scrimmages to gets looks at kids that aren’t ready yet.
14 is fine and will be ready, he was a little nicked up against CNU. 2 is probably the fourth attack right now and 52 will be on EMO is the scrimmages are any indication.
I do like 9's game and think he will get more run as the year goes on. He could be this year's Jack Grayson who was buried a little at the beginning of last year but then made his way to the top middie line.

think the attack is pretty simple with Harnick, Mayer, and Burbank. Do not be surprised if the 3 seniors get broken up in some fashion, They like Almond, McCarver, Palehonki, and Hartz and they also like Kazella and Fischer, so I will say Grayson, Kazella, and Fischer on one line and JWilly, Ames, and Palehoki or McCarver on the other.

Blackmon,Biava, and Hull at close

Greene and then Rutledge and Ruebling or Snodgrass at LSM

SSDM Mentzer, Shields, Sock, Jens

fogo Facciponti

goalie crap shoot- heard that this was going to be a game-time decision
Midfield - Wilhelm, Grayson, Clark, Fisher, Kazella, paleholki

Callinan in the goal.
Certainly would not be surprised if its Callinan first, it was trending that way all fall and for the early part of the spring but, I am hearing that he may have come back to the pack some over the last few weeks.

Do D3 programs ever travel the day before, and stay in hotels (like D1)? And where do D1 programs get the $$$ to put 50 kids up in a hotel?

Yes, D3 programs do travel the day before games and stay in hotels. Not for every game of course but anywhere from 2 to 3 each year. Plus if they make the NCAA tournament they will travel the day before they play those games as well. The travel squad may not be all 50 guys on a roster. The $$ is all part of the budget for each school.

D1- it depends how far they're going, same with D3. Coaches/Booster heads ask for a donation from parents for away expenses. It includes hotel/food costs for all road trips.

I saw an Instagram video for Mercer when they traveled up to PA for a game. Dinner at restaurants. Hotel stay. Must have been thousands of dollars.

School and Booster money, but they really have no choice but to travel, like Jacksonville. Pretty soon the south will have more D1 teams. The club programs a very strong in the ACC.

The answer is yes for away games more than say 5 hours away. Travel the morning before, arrive in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel and hopefully even get a light practice in on the field they'll be playing on. Then a team dinner and breakfast and on the road back to campus after a post game meal with the traveling supporters.

The real cost is the Spring break trip. One week on the road, 2 drivers, hotel, 3 meals a day. Etc.

The real sticky part is available seats on the bus for team, coaches, trainers etc. If you have more than say 48 players, you will have to leave kids home. Doubt very many D3 program going to show up in 2 buses. Probably not great for team moral to have kids left home. Heck it's the bus rides, the hotels and meals are where most memories and laughs are from 10-15 years down the road. Not the actual games. So I'm always amazed at rosters over 50 players. Not sure that's ideal. But I'm sure there are reasons/arguments for such large roster .

Man, that was a tough watch. Yea, there were some questionable calls, but in the end if you were up by 4, a few bad calls wasn’t what ended your day.

Congrats to the generals.

York, work on your D and your clears. And man did they look physically small out there.

It was the turnovers. York literally turned it over on every offensive possession in the 4th and OT. York was the better team out there. But W&L was more composed.

A tale of two different teams looked liked they switched jerseys. Can you say Turnovers! Have to say York won in the save department 12-3. Generals started the freshman and while he had a tough day he’s going to be good. Gives up a lot of rebounds in high school but he will be next in line in a string of strong W&L goalies. Generals out shoot York 26 to 8 in the second half equal to Yorks total in the game….Have to credit the Generals for hanging around and coming back in the second half. Schnor’s goal at the buzzer in the third started a 5 goal General run. This is something for the Generals to build on. York will be back next week and are still a top 10 team w a great coach

I feel like “Work on your D” may be an extreme generalization and not accurately capture what happened. The D played pretty well. York was up 8-3 at half and only scored 2 goals at the end of the 3rd. That was it. They turned it over with bad passes or dumb mistakes on every other possession. Not going to win games that way.

Great win today by the Gennies! Have to disagree, first half, yes, Generals looked out of sorts but made the changes at half, won the second half and looked much better than York, especially in the 4th, at games end and thats when it counts. Congrats to Coach Gene and staff for making those changes.

An overall sloppy game by both sides, very hard to watch. W&L scored on the majority of their possessions, and York switched up their offense in the second half for no reason. No composure from either team.
