They are reporting that NJIT has hired Rogalski as of 6/14
Been wondering about who was involved here. Rogalski doesn’t have a great record as a HC in my opinion but is probably the biggest of names NJIT would have gotten.

EDIT: looking at that site it still has the NJIT job as open.

Is he trying to get out of coaching or just wants a break as a D1 assistant.

Rogalski? He’s been Michigan’s defensive coordinator since his departure from Lafayette.

Yeah. It seemed Michigan was a nice "rehab" after Lafayette, and I wonder if he may need another after an NJIT stint.

ohhhh...someone is super sleuthing.

Both assistants are still listed on it’s site, but that doesn’t mean anything

Will be interesting to see the title. He was Associate HC at GT
between umd and navy/annapolis, phipps was never long for georgetown.
I would have thought he stayed at G'Town until he got an HC job (or MD OC job). Surprising to me at least.

This backs up this tweet from Chris Jastrzembski

“ Seeing another movie, this time Jurassic World Dominion, but being told that current LIU head coach Eric Wolf is now the focus for the NJIT head coaching vacancy, per multiple sources.

Should know more within the next day or so.”

Hearing lots of $$ thrown at him plus the love for Navy. My guess he probably the highest paid OC.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? You would think LIU is a better spot then NJIT…

Sowell’s starting salary when he arrived was 310k if memory serves.

I don’t recall how asst coaches were comped snd how the lax camps fit into it.

LIU is a good open job. They have talent and young talent. Their D was very good last yr and only lost 1 guy.

Top Attackmen Lacandre in the transfer portal doesn't help. Great opportunity for a young up and coming coach to make a name for themselves.

Why do people look at jobs just based on previous regimes records. NJIT is a better school with better facilities and budget, as well as, a better conference. If he's getting more money that is a plus.

also the LIU att has transferred to Ohio St
