For awhile now they’ve done a midweek game 2nd/3rd week of February. This year that would fit in between Loyola and Cuse which would be a tough stretch; but if they’re gonna get to 13 regular season games they would need a midweek date at this point.

past suspects like Richmond or Bucknell or Marist don’t have Terps on schedule this year and High Point is Week 1. In 2019 it was Colgate who doesn’t have a schedule out yet. Maybe them.

Have not heard about any weekday game but I agree they seem to be a game short.
All the other Big Ten teams are playing 13 games. Hopkins has two weekends where they are playing Friday and Sunday.

I think the Friday/Sunday thing is going to replace midweek games in the future. Coaches really don’t want to play in the middle of the week and it’s not good for the players.

I imagine there will be exceptions made for the sports teams now that there are vaccines and the entire team is likely fully vaccinated and there will be antivirals available as well. I think all the Ivies will start on time. 2 months is awhile.

But the schedule still hasn’t been announced yet so presumably they could still find an opponent; maybe it wouldn’t be that weekend but a weekday since lots of teams have dates filled

Both of Maryland's safeties declared for the NFL. With Trader in line to start next year, I can't imagine he'd want to miss spring practice. He's still listed on the lacrosse roster, so who knows.
