Collison is consistently beating his man. Earlier in the game he fought through a triple-team and shot wide.

Collision is quickly developing into the Blue Jays’ best middie.

Brutal. The schedule has caught up with this team.
You just can't play three tough teams in a week and expect a good outcome.
It's like a Seinfeld episode. No learning.

he's a beast, but beating a man during garbage time is nothing to write home about

He has done this consistently in his first four games. And not just against SSDMs … he has dodged and scored against longpoles. It’s not a “garbage time” thing.

Collision is developing into one of the better freshman middies in the country. A consolation for an otherwise debacle of a game.

Collison and Grimes sweeps have been the entirety of our offense today

Back to the drawing board after this one.

Only if you started following Hopkins lacrosse after the 2012 season

What in that post did you take as excuse-making? Go back to your board, fool.

Loyola earned this win with their stellar play. Beautiful, aggressive lacrosse all over the field.

I think we can safely conclude now that this Hopkins schedule is moronic. The debate is over on that point. It wasn’t the sole cause of the losses to UNC and Loyola, but it didn’t help. And I don’t think we can exclude the possibility that it may have contributed to some injuries.

We are just four games into this season. Blue Jays have shown some real promise, but they already have some rebuilding to do. This is a good team with a lot of work ahead.

When you have nobody to trigger the offense, dodging is what's left. Stat of the day: Angelus averaged 2.7 assists per game; today the entire team had one assist.

We'll always have that 2-0 start...

This Loyola team is the real deal. Best I've seen this year. Staudt makes a huge difference.

Hopefully Marcille is OK.

I understand the merits of a "we'll play anyone" mentality re: scheduling, but that doesn't mean you need to put together a suicidal schedule to begin the year. This is suicidal.

This offense just doen't have enough to survive when Angelus (in particular) and Melendez are out. Maybe the small silver lining is a confidence boost for guys like Marquis, Phillips, Collison, Grimes for getting some real run and responsibility. Grimes in particular needs to be more aggressive and maybe this is the start.

Next 3 will make or break the season. As oppoed to the past few seasons, no one in the B1G looks invincible.

Even if that were true, what are we gonna do about it now? It's done.

Not sure what people were expecting coming into the game without two starting attackman against a good defense. Did about as well as Maryland did last week.

On the bright side, we have a freshman midfielder who took a 1st team AA to the woodshed, so that probably bodes well

We're onto the Utes
