Guys like Desimone, Baskin and Keough better hope so. No way they see the field with another staff. Desimone is a ghost.
Forry and Epstein have shown up. Anyone else get off the bus?

He must be looking for Kyle Marr because I haven't seen him do anything but take bad penalties for the last month.
Coaching issues don’t stop with Danny Jones. I can’t understand how Petro keeps him in ALL SEASON long when he has other options. Why not try to develop those other options.Wood Sticks 4ever wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 8:25 pmI'm pretty sure the only thing Danny Jones has to do his best, and I'm guessing that he is. If he is horrendous, seems like that is a coaching issue if they don't replace him.
Not sure how many times you have to be told this but Petro is the defensive coordinator. Dean is a pure figure head.DocBarrister wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 8:37 pm Irish on pace to score 20 goals.
If Pietramala wants to return for one more year (and I do think he has some outstanding young talent), then I would let him.
HOWEVER, I would not allow him to return without a new defensive coordinator.
Game’s not over, and I am still rooting for a Hopkins win, but this is an embarrassment.

I know that. Just like Brian Kelly was basically forced to back off on handling Notre Dame’s offense and bring in an offense coordinator who was really going to run the offense, Petro needs someone to come in and revamp the defense. There’s no room for an “Associate Head Coach” like Bill Dwan who basically acts as Petro’s assistant rather than a defensive coordinator.steel_hop wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 8:38 pmNot sure how many times you have to be told this but Petro is the defensive coordinator.
