Or if that’s too plebeian there’s Pace and Fordham. Lots of options outside of NYU & Columbia.
And, of course, Trump did go to Fordham for two years before transferring to Wharton. Thankfully, he never ever mentions that.

Us Fordham grads are so happy/relieved he left. The stain belongs to Wharton alone.

Usually, it would be a huge deal and a proud thing if a US president spent any time at all at your school. Even if he didn't get his degree from there. At Fordham, Trump is Voldemort -- he whose name shall never be mentioned.

During the campaign, Michael Cohen threatened to sue Fordham if they ever released his grades. Wonder what Cheetoh was worried about?
All would be forgiven had trump cut your college a big fat check.
Not quite how all colleges work despite your perception of higher ed.

So colleges don't like donations of money?? My perception is that they are very happy to take money from any source. Alumni are the easiest suckers.

Plenty of colleges have given money back or rejected it initially. Many.

The proposition that it’s only if they like money they take anyone’s money is absurd in its face and not even a serious response.

I'm not really a finance guy. Could you explain how alienating half my alumni & half my donation base for a small one-time cash infusion isn't a great business decision?

I think you’ll do just fine. I suppose if you’re job is as heel in the WWE and trying to sell merchandise…

Only works if your good at ponzi schemes and exit strategies to non extradition countries. Don’t be an Allan Stanford (Stanford Financial) or Sammy Israel (Bayou Funds).

Half way across the country and 26 students.

What BS. I communicate with Russians so clearly I understand everything about their country.

But the county being 90% white does explain some things.

Delusions are strong. Tortured is another projection. Like all of his reality.

It’s also a wealthy county-median HHI was $71k and low cost living vs $90k in New York County. Totally clueless and out to lunch.

 ...as expected. FFG cites some overly broad stats for the entire county & you seize upon them to question the veracity of my description of my hometown.

Here's some more precise stats for my unincorporated home town.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cedar_Hill,_Missouri
The median income for a household in the CDP was $35,481, and the median income for a family was $43,214. Males had a median income of $40,160 versus $21,074 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $15,599. About 5.7% of families and 12.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 6.1% of those under age 18 and 8.8% of those age 65 or over.

JeffCo is bounded on the N by metro STL county & on the E by the MS River. The N end is populated by more relatively affluent commuters & the E end by older established & more developed River & RR towns. My home town is near the more rural W edge of the county.
When I grew up there, it was mainly a rural farm town & a distant Xurb of StL connected by a windy 2 lane Hwy.
After I left, the Hwy was gradually upgraded to 4 lanes & more blue collar commuters were attracted by low property taxes & no residential zoning. e.g. : a mobile home park now abuts the parking lot of our family's grocery market, now operated by my brother (w/ my sister doing the bookkeeping). They are integral members of the community. I speak with them daily.

Of course I read that too. Still talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Difference is folks see my flaws but they know I care about transparency and honesty. I get detailed and specific and you cry. Now it’s overly broad.

I stand by having spent nearly a decade meeting with and spending time in town large and small covering nearly 500 community and regional banks where the business of the banks directly reflects the local economies. I’m sure you’ll lecture me on banking next.

We have roots in SoMd since we arrived there in 1977. Maintained our primary residence there for 3+ decades (except for 3 yrs in Spain).
Still own property & hold mortgages there. Wife taught in St Mary's & Calvert Co public schools for 22 yrs. Founded an animal rescue group there & established a network of multiple SoMd rescue groups who use the low cost vet clinic we personally fund & operate. I volunteered for decades for the Tri-County govt animal shelter, transporting their shelter dogs from death row "up the road" to urban & suburban rescue groups via my "UnderdogRR" minivans. Both of our careers & volunteer work established multiple friendships & working relationships throughout SoMd, which we still maintain. The rural nature of SoMd is a major factor in what attracted us to settle in SoMd. It reminded us of where we came from.
