Brett Martin might be the best final-possession defender I've ever seen. Puts the ball on the ground every time.

That was the right play … a Big Guy play for Collison. Just didn’t finish.

Fracyon got that shot with his left leg is why it didn’t go in.

Hopkins went to Collison to go ahead by one, for the regulation potential game winner and for the overtime game winner.

That's quite the win. They just kept grinding away. Not pretty offensively, but it wasn't exactly sloppy. I think you just have to give both defenses an awful lot of credit.

Dylan Bauer's playmaking opened up the offense, got the D rotating and tired, gave us better looks all over the place and forced Fracyon to make saves off ball movement instead of getting to stare down iso dodges. 3 enormous game-changing assists for a player 06 wanted to bench last year

Outside of two admittedly bad switches on Malone, the defense was absolutely unbelievable. All three close defensemen should be All-Americans. Martin and Jaronski were just terrific

Szuluk avenged last year's blown clear in overtime with the game-winning CT to get the offense the ball back. Seniors and grad students making huge plays all over the place. Great day to be a Jay.

Hopkins defense is Memorial Day worthy. Kilrain addition has been amazing. He is more disruptive this year compared to him as a senior. Great kid, always been super focused

Blue Jays won this game behind the best defense in the nation. Yes, the BEST DEFENSE IN THE NATION.

As for our OC and the offense … Crawley needs to get better at in-game adjustments and the offense finally came alive in the fourth quarter.

Collison finally started playing like the Big Guy that he is.

Enough of the quibbles. This was a huge grind-it-out win against an excellent opponent. Made the Homecoming crowd proud.

Great win.

Nice win for the Hop -- very fun game to watch! Congrats to the Blue Jay faithful and enjoy. Hopkins has won games a lot of different ways this season, they are always entertaining to watch.

Program record 14 caused turnovers. Kilrain and Szuluk had 3 each

Jays only had 9 turnovers

Hugely poised effort in the second half.

FOR THE TIME BEING, Hopkins is #1 in the RPI. The winner of ND-Duke tomorrow will take over that spot. But we will be #2 or #3 by the end of the weekend at worst.

Slinding from the crease there was kind of a fundmental screw-up. Thanks, PSU!
