Article failed to mention GC made the trip to Albany twice in four days because of cancellations, to not miss half a week of school. Not like they had an easy week.

INTERESTING!
Most also removed their ribbons immediately. At least wait til you're back in line so it's not on camera, lol.
Ummm...FDale players did same in Class A awards ceremony

And since when are grad ceremonies so early in June? I may be mistaken but I swear my kids all graduated hs in the June 20-somethings.
If we need that extra push over the cliff, ya know what we do...eleven, exactly.

Yeah, that wasn't a great look. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and say he 'gently, underhand tossed' it. It did land flat.

Everything is earlier now. Colleges get out in early May, high school often ends the send week of June. Need to give extra time for a summer full of staring at screens.

They do it at Innovative Park where Red Wings play. They are home 13-25th I believe, so Victor had to hold graduation earlier than usual.

Innovative Park, how dumb. Frontier Field to most of us.

14-5
Think about this:
By the time the sun sets tonight assuming, which I do, that CSH beats Marcellus, in addition to being State Champion, Manhasset will have defeated four other State Champions:

Mercer Island (Washington)
Cold Spring Harbor (New York)
Garden City (New York)
Rumson-Fair Haven (New Jersey)

I’m hard pressed to believe that there are many, if any, other high schools which have accomplished this feat. This team belongs in the Pantheon of all time great Manhasset teams.

"If Victor had a few more minutes ,the outcome could have been different".(Quoth the announcer of the J-D/MHS game)

I AGREE 100%.THE OUTCOME COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT.SCENARIOS ABOUND.

The announcer indicated that MHS is the best PUBLIC H.S. in the country this year.Hard to argue with his pronouncement.Did any PUBLIC school come close?

Yes 😂. Just like the "The Ralph" for Buffalo Bills, and SU Carrier Dome.

The game was reminiscent of the 2015 final in which Victor beat Manhasset by 9. Cal Girard played the part of T.D. Ierlan.
