I was wondering what happened here. My program guide is now showing Wake Forest @ Virginia Tech basketball (live) in the 4:00pm timeslot that this game was originally slated for, so it looks like lacrosse got bumped for hoops. Understandable, but no less disappointing for it.

Drexel is playing Salisbury, but that’s a scrimmage.

Hofstra's schedule lists their March 6 game versus UMass as "postponed." I have not seen an official announcement of this out of either school yet, though, so take it for what it's worth. I'm really starting to worry about UMass. I hope they are able to get going soon.

The Naval Academy announced Sunday night it is pausing all athletic activities except for men’s basketball for 10 days as the academy will be under a restriction of movement due to increased COVID-19 mitigation measures.

Home game against Bucknell (Mar 6) will be postponed, but otherwise this pause comes at a good time for Navy Lacrosse, as their game the weekend after that (Mar 13) was provisionally against Penn and has already disappeared from the calendar.

Duke vs. Richmond on Sunday at 4 pm. New attendance policy allowing more fans at Robins Stadium according to UR press release 3/1.

"A maximum of 1,000 fans may be able to attend the three Spider football games this spring against William & Mary (March 6), Elon (March 27) and James Madison (April 3). Robins Stadium will also be able to host up to 1,000 fans beginning March 7 vs. Duke for men's lacrosse and March 28 vs. VCU in women's lacrosse. "

UMass schedule updates:

• Game originally scheduled for next Tuesday (March 9) at Albany has been postponed to Tuesday, March 23.

• Game originally scheduled for Sunday, March 21 versus Drexel has been moved forward one day to Saturday, March 20 to accommodate other schedule changes.

• Game originally scheduled for this Saturday (March 6) at Hofstra has been postponed to Tuesday, March 30.

Current state of the UMass schedule through the end of March because I realize that the above might be confusing.

@CSUVikingsLax will travel to @Bucknell_MLAX for a noon faceoff on Sunday. Vikings didn't have a game this weekend, while Bucknell finally gets to open their season. Bison had their 1st 3 scheduled games canceled or postponed.

Great to see Bucknell hitting the turf against another jersey color. Shame it could not have been Navy, but at least we have some lacrosse.

The Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse squad's Northeast Conference road opener at Wagner, scheduled for Saturday, March 6 at noon, has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Hawks (0-3) return to action at Sacred Heart next Saturday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m.

This now makes three conference games that we've lost this weekend:
Bucknell @ Navy
St. Joe's @ Wagner
UMass @ Hofstra

So far only UMass/Hofstra has made it back onto the schedules, now set for Tuesday, March 30.

How the various conferences handle re-scheduling these lost games (and I'm sure that there are more to come) will be something for us in this thread to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

Saint Joseph's at WagnerLacrosse has been rescheduled for Monday, March 8.
