The Maryland Department of Health released statistics that while the total number of deaths in Maryland among vaccinated people since the vaccines came out is .0065%, between Sept. 1 and Oct. 15, they accounted for 30% of COVID-19 deaths.

"That proportion can be misleading, and the reason why is that as more and more people are vaccinated in the United States, they make up a greater proportion of the deaths," Moss said.

The state department of health agrees, writing in a statement, "As the number of our residents who are vaccinated continues to increase, we expect to see an increase in the proportion of COVID-related deaths occurring in vaccinated individuals. Many of these deaths are linked to comorbidities that make patients more vulnerable."
now... ~200 out of 2,400 (8%) of all 2021 breakthru u.s. deaths in just 6 weeks... for a state with less than 2% of the population... that sounds like a problem.
likely...

Un huh. Vaccines don’t work.
lol. why do you keep saying that? that can't be helping your convos with friends and family.
It’s not….30% of people dying in Maryland proves it, obviously.

I've been googling to find the actual Dept of Health statement, but I'm only seeing WBAL and Washington Examiner reporting it as 30% of deaths; WTOP reports it as 30% of infections.

The number of people coming down with COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated against the coronavirus is on the rise in Maryland. Overall, 30.3% of cases over the past month are “breakthrough cases” compared to just 5.9% in May.

https://wtop.com/coronavirus/2021/10/pe ... -maryland/

It does make sense that the proportion would be rising as the % of vaccinated adults, esp seniors, is so high in MD, but nevertheless I'm scratching my head at this disparity in reporting.

Need to see the actual data.

The worrisome data is the good data. The data that’s not so worrisome is comprised or not accurate.

Maybe the report will just have laughing emojis, that way it will be settled.

I’m all seriousness, the WBAL statement draws attention to being vaccinated, dying, but saying “all” had another contributing factor. This also comes close to when boosters have been issued.

I've also been googling to find the Md Dept of health's "statement" that includes:

That statement, as far as it goes, would definitely be true, but I don't find any such statement other than in that WBAL article, and I can't find (yet) anything that actually says 30% of the deaths from Covid over the past 6 weeks were from those fully vaccinated...could be somewhere, but I haven't found it on any official site.

Per CDC and KFF. Data for September 2021.

49,800 unvaxed deaths from Covid that would have been prevented by a vax.

4,900 deaths among unvaxed that might not have been prevented by a vax.

2,400 deaths among the vaxed.

Now we are cooking with gas!

New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority no longer pays a $500,000 death benefit to the families of subway, bus and commuter rail workers who die of covid if the workers were unvaccinated at the time of death.

Does getting vaccinated on the death bed count?

Bad science or rushed science? He is a link to a page that lists, to date, the 189 scientific articles retracted that deal with COVID.

https://retractionwatch.com/retracted-c ... 19-papers/

Kind of ugly. Don't know if it is just bad science or rushed science or probably a combination of both.
