They estimate that excess deaths per 100k pop in US is 260-300, in China -11-120, meaning that China's lockdown may conceivably have actually reduced excess deaths. Only country to possibly have had that occur.
Russia looks like the worst on this initial list, 600-620, followed by Mexico at 430-460, and Brazil at 310-350.
When you expand the list, some other awful performers appear to be Peru, Ecuador, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia etc. and some neighbors.
The wealthy European countries have done significantly better than the US, some way better. But the Eastern European countries awful.
