What’s a troll?
A troll is Internet slang for a person who intentionally tries to instigate conflict, hostility, or arguments in an online social community. ... Trolls often use inflammatory messages to provoke emotional responses out of people, disrupting otherwise civil discussion.
“You’re racist. He’s a prick. Right wingers are pricks.”
Sounds awfully familiar to the crap someone else around here spews. The guy who’s always in fanlax jail.
But Doc agrees with Matnum’s political views so he gets a pass.
Same sh it, different day.
ok, so not a "personal attack" then, but you're saying doc's violating this rule?

SECTION 4. No post-er shall:

d. Troll and/or commit other Russian 'bot and/or other Putinesque behaviors. A troll is someone who uses over-the-top opinions or unverified claims to incite others, stir up controversy, and change a civilized discussion into a battleground.
Ok, so are you simply saying that Doc calling the fired coach a "pr*ck" in an "over-the-top opinion" or an "unverified claim" to "incite others, stir up controversy, and change a civilized discussion into a battleground"?
I guess one could call it an "over-the-top opinion" but who was it inciting or stirring up? Did it change a civilized discussion into a battleground?
Perhaps the Admin would agree with you, but he'd need to have it flagged to be able to respond. Go ahead and do so if you really think somethings way out of bounds. Or be patient and let it die down...and if doesn't, then report it to Admin...
Seems to me that we
all do veer at times into hyperbole, but is there some actual "Putinesque behavior" in this? Actual misinformation, out of the blue, off topic incendiary BS? Offered only to inflame rather than express an honestly held view?
For instance, if I recall correctly, you sometimes express in rather brutal language what you think about abortion, etc, but I'm pretty sure that's an honestly held view and you're just expressing your own strongly held views...and you do so on the appropriate threads, in context...some may well find it offensive and strongly disagree, but even if you're using hyperbole, I wouldn't call that trolling...on topic and honest.
wgdsr is indeed consistent with his prior expressed view on this topic.
I just don't see any bias as yet.
