Re: Climate Change & The Environment

This graph makes no sense. The X-axis timeline shows only 2019, and superimposes 2020 events on top of 2019 time line.
Its pure and simple nonsense. A graph showing a 1 Jan to 31 Dec timeline, a single year. Only one point on the graph is a labeled point Sep 2019. Then superimposed on that it shows 2020 event occurring before 2019 events. ... and this means what exactly??youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 1:32 pm It is the year 2020, graphics are the new norm, graphics are capable of displaying much more data that you hand built spreadsheet.

You might want to try going to Antarctica with a pencil and notepad and start counting polar bears. Maybe you can get close enough to get a few up close and personal interviews? I could only hope....jhu72 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:37 pm… you might want to try some real science instead of horsesh!t graphics like this.youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:19 pm You might want to up your dose of Ginko Biloba & Bacopa Monnieri.

A PhD with a nasty sense of humor. You are a freak of nature... BTW, thank you for the kind thoughts about my wife. She is doing well and they were much appreciated. I hate to inform the good doctor but the correct response you gave me is close but way off base. It should be stated... If I want any chit from you I will cut a hole in your head and scoop it out. If your gonna improvise please try harder.jhu72 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:56 pmHey, if I wanted any of your lip, I'd scrap it of YA's zipper.cradleandshoot wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:41 pmYou might want to try going to Antarctica with a pencil and notepad and start counting polar bears. I would happily help finance an expedition of you and some of your merry band of environmental misfits to the artic ice shelf. How much super glue would you and your crew need to do a humpty dumpty on that bad boy? If nothing else the opportunity to keep you on ice for an extended period of time is a win/win for all of us.

The article helps me understand why the Republican party is even more effed up than I thought it was. They think when they get rid of trump they can fix their party and make it relevant again. A fools errand if ever there was one. The party has been taken over by the FLP candy ass wing that just wants to get along with the Democrats and prove how rational they are. The Democrats have to be laughing their ass off at what a bunch of chumps half the Republicans have turned in to.Peter Brown wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:22 amcradleandshoot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 7:15 amOnly in your wet dreams does this ever happen doc. There was a great article a few days ago about how completely lacking in principles the MD-wing of the Republican Party is and was. You really need to read it. Money line:
It’s easy to see what they hate about Trump; it’s harder to see, for their present personae, what they ever liked about the Republican Party or conservatism.

I had a different takeaway. My takeaway is many of the party’s previous consultant class, all of whom adore the government technocracy, are really only about money. They were never Republican nor conservative, they were power and cash driven. Their writings and speeches are no different than AOC now. Further they lack the humility to analyze their own faults and responsibilities. This to me is what the MD wing of the party was and is.
So far as Republicans going forward, it’s much better to not have fakes milling about. Cleaner and more reliable is far preferable to murky and dubious. Republicans will be fine. 2024 will be between Haley and Desantis, two formidable conservatives with big time donors.

If you are correct, and I don't want to put words in his mouth, those would be 2 candidates who will not be "rational" enough for the MD wing of the party.

I’m afraid no Republican is rational enough for MD, or those that the article excoriates. It could be they never were Republicans...
