Without having seen him play this season, maybe part of the issue is he's struggling to do the things he's had success with in the past. I remember watching his HS video for the fantasy draft and being really impressed with his passing and his size. I think his assist stats were very good in the OLA Jr. A circuit. I wanted to draft him, but didn't really have a spot to draft him before the 4th round and then he got drafted in the top 10 overall.

Peshko missed some time in the preseason and is playing banged up. I thought you were Mr. Insider and knew everything?

You used to admonish people for evaluating players based on the eye test whem they didn’t know the behind-the-scenes context. Shack’s back injury comes to mind.

Peshko is gonna be fine. He’s off to a slow start. But there is a reason we haven’t seen him dodge much yet.

Yes. I did going back a long time. I don’t have the luxury of inside knowledge now. All i have is they eye test. I would try to give the bigger context. So if you or anyone tells me what i see is bcs of injury i am fine with it. More knowledge is a good thing in developing understanding,

I think taking Hopkins there with those odds would be a good bet. Sorry to litter your thread - I just happened to watch you guys play on Sunday.

I feel like Hopkins will score. I was more surprised with the relative ease Georgetown’s offense was able to generate good looks against the Hop D. Can’t imagine Loyola will be able to do that as easily. But then again, that could have been because of tired legs as game went on.

Without saying whether I agree or disagree with your assessment of him, one thing we have in spades is guys who can "get him the ball" (Deso, Epstein, Keogh, McDermott, Angelus, amongst others)

like everything IL does it was a mess, but jr gives great insight into how the schools handling of the pandemic completely neutered last years team. Good stuff on Jameson, the Huntleys, and how his pro career life have helped him connect with the players. That Maryland Hopkins 100 game they mentioned was one of my favorite experiences at Hopkins and the writeup the school did on the week was fantastic.

on the plus side grimes is starting to get dumb luck goals which is what happens when a player is doing the right things and ending up in the right places. we need him.
