This is an embarrassment for the Big10. Are these Rutgers timers?ardilla secreta wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 9:23 pm How is the Pork Store operating the game clock? Yo.

Great effort. On to the tourney (one hopes)

Marr's two penalties were the difference.
Heroic effort by Joseph Epstein.

everyone in that lockerroom did the university and program proud tonight and this week. no down. only up and forward and into the ncaa tournament.
Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
Tough loss, but still should make the NCAAT but probably on the road. Four local teams should make, but who will be home next weekend?

Never seen such inept time keepers. (It just aint' that hard of a job...)DougELax wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 9:29 pmThis is an embarrassment for the Big10. Are these Rutgers timers?ardilla secreta wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 9:23 pm How is the Pork Store operating the game clock? Yo.

Pretty clear who the second best team in the B1G is.
Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
So essentially you've got about 120 or so pages of BS when it comes to recruiting the wrong kids, players who just aren't good enough, lousy and too comlplicated defensive schemes, and, and, and.
Mighty good looking team that played one heck of a game. Those are very good lacrosse players at Hopkins.

To be fair some of those pages are complaining that the coaching staff isn't using the players they have properly.DMac wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 9:37 pm So essentially you've got about 120 or so pages of BS when it comes to recruiting the wrong kids, players who just aren't good enough, lousy and too comlplicated defensive schemes, and, and, and.

Wow!!
What a game. The way it should be played.

Poor Darby.
Getting fired on game after game.
But, still.
They’re off to the NCAAs.

Ivies are for privileged morons. Just look at the Ivy legalese product that we unfortunately have to experience here, damn near daily.
Not impressed.

Got to love this game despite the OT loss. Penn State just made one more play. Congratulations to the Nittany Lions.
I think this Blue Jay team proved to themselves and all of college lacrosse that they can play with anyone. ANYONE.
Most importantly, Hopkins never quit. NEVER QUIT.
Joey Epstein with, I believe, 7 goals and 2 assists. Completely fearless. I’m sure he broke whatever freshman scoring record Brian Piccola once held. Amazing ... 67 points as a freshman.
How about Evan Zinn? Guy forced Penn State to adjust their defense.
This is not the Blue Jays’ last game. No way the committee is keeping this team out.

And they have finally started using players a bit differently the past few weeks.DougELax wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 9:38 pmTo be fair some of those pages are complaining that the coaching staff isn't using the players they have properly.DMac wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 9:37 pm So essentially you've got about 120 or so pages of BS when it comes to recruiting the wrong kids, players who just aren't good enough, lousy and too comlplicated defensive schemes, and, and, and.

Can’t blame the Hopkins defense and Darby too much. Some of the Penn State shooting was surreal.
Wondering where the Blue Jays will travel next week.
Hopkins players stepped up.
Hopkins coaches stepped up.
Blue Jays have played some amazing lacrosse the past two weeks.

Amazing thing is ... both Penn State and Hopkins played this high-energy, high-quality game with just one day’s full rest.
