Anyone know how to build a wall underwater to keep drugs out. How many people does it take to walk 3 tons of cocaine over the boarder?

Captain Video's back for an encore.

Another tragic day at the border. 39 male migrants dead in a fire in Ciudad Juarez when locked in a shelter & mattresses set on fire in protest.

The length of time for amnesty cases to come before judges is terrible. We need more judges. But….

you personally have to search a wider variety of topics so your algorithm gets expanded. This migrant cell phone tripe has been dispensed with as fast as certain media outlets and bloggers started reporting their half truths to rile people up. The “phones” only have the capability to receive or call the user’s assigned government contacts and to access a specific DHS app. No wholesale phone capabilities, texting, internet access, etc.

Google’s a great tool when used.

Not possible. Trump ran on fixing immigration. This was fixed years ago, YA. Fake news.

Yup. I like that we've had six Presidents that have kept these programs, and Obama's the one who's tagged with the programs.

Gee, I wonder why?

This has gone under the radar here - looks like Florida is requiring e-verify for companies over 25 employees.

Already a lot of push-back from the non-Cuban hispanic population. Will be interesting to see how it works.

Many States already have this for EVerify. No one enforces its use in any meaningful way.

Don't have to involve immigration at all. All they have to do is enforce LABOR laws, which aren't the same thing, and every State has labor laws on the books.

That's why I say: go after the business, not the workers.

 Big freaking deal. Not ONE of them actually uses it. If they did? You'd be hearing about HUNDREDS of businesses losing licenses and getting shut down. Where the heck do you think the MILLIONS of people are working?

My point stands, no matter how much you desperately want to defend your silly, pointless team: NO ONE is enforcing the law.

The difference is: your team's voters are claiming your side is. And this is a big, fat, dumb lie. But you do you.

I don't care about this issue anymore, because voters like you don't REALLY care about it. You claim that you do....yet you don't hold your leaders accountable.

Yet you think this is a winning formula to get what you want. Great. Keep it up. It's working great.

Do both. Require E-verify AND rationalize the asylum laws to conform with the UN safe 3rd country rqmt.
No need to make perfect the enemy of the good (enough).
Do reform in steps.

Biden ordered ICE to stop raiding employers.
https://www.npr.org/2021/10/12/10452956 ... -raids-dhs
During the Trump administration, ICE carried out several massive workplace raids that the then-president touted as a centerpiece of his crackdown on undocumented immigration. One operation in 2018 resulted in the arrest of 146 employees at a meat processing company in northeast Ohio.

That raid was followed by an operation in 2019 in which ICE agents arrested approximately 680 people at food processing plants in Mississippi.

This is YOUR idea of enforcing the laws: show up at a business, act like the employer "gee whiz golly" just has NO IDEA they're hiring illegal workers, and instead, spend all your time going after the workers.

Did any of these places lose their licenses? You need Federal licensing for meat packing. Got a cite where they lose their licenses? Or the local licenses needed pulled?

No. You don't. Why? $$$.

This isn't enforcing the laws, OS. This is looking the other way so that they can tell guys like you "they did they're best".

They treat liquor license violations more seriously, FFS.

States have Labor laws. You have to be 16 to get a job in Colorado, for example. How do I prove that without valid ID? Start there.

This is easier than you realize. They don't want to fix this. Sooner you get that, the sooner you'll hold your reps responsible....and stop thinking "everything would be great if the Dems weren't in the way".

 ...no matter what Trump did, or tried to do, you'll never give him credit.
But look what's happened since he left office,
& you think it can be corrected with state labor laws.

State labor laws & E-verify are evaded via phony documents.
ICE raids were a deterrent, but Biden stopped them to pander to his base.

The influx is never going to be controllable until our asylum laws are changed & brought to the same standard as other nations in our hemisphere & economic migrants are no longer admitted & released under phony claims of "credible fear", then released to roam free, melt into the underground economy, never check in with ICE or skip their hearing years later & remain untouched in sanctuary jurisdictions. It's all a scam to legitimate an open border policy. If we address the asylum law loopholes, then our immigration services won't be overwhelmed & legit worker shortages can be addressed through legal means.
