No sir, you are the greatest...false equivalencer in the land.

Trump's economy was roaring on tax cuts for the wealthy and borrowed money. All the while he diminished institutions crucial to democratic life and governance, profited off his office, and treated the half of the country that loathed him like traitors in the land in which they were born. He spread lies about the election even before he lost it, and then made an earnest effort to overturn the will of the majority, likely committing criminal violations of the electoral laws of several states. Every day he spent in office besmirched the office of the POTUS, and weakened our country at home and abroad to the attacks of would be authoritarians and gave succor to conspiracy theorists and racists.

Joe took a look at some notes. Try to value the whole country instead of just your diminished and freakish party. It's fun.

There is probably an easy way to get to 70% vaccinations-

Point out that Trump has been vaccinated. And helped roll out the vaccine.

And then:

Biden repeatedly mentioned being a president for all and crossing the aisle when he got in to office.

Psaki answered Peter Doocy's dumb question about this a few days ago: Trump doesn't need an invitation to do the right thing...it's just not in his nature. Bush and Obama have both done the PSA on vaccination. Every outlet has pointed out at one time or another that Trump (and Hannity and Ingraham and Carlson and every other member of the Right Wing Punditocracy) has gotten the vax. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... story.html

"A growing number of top Republicans are urging GOP supporters to get vaccinated as the delta coronavirus variant surges across the United States, marking a notable shift away from the anti-vaccine conspiracy theorizing that has gripped much of the party in opposition to the Biden administration’s efforts to combat the virus.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) was part of the rising chorus on Tuesday, stressing the need for unvaccinated Americans to receive coronavirus shots and warning that the country could reverse its progress in moving on from the pandemic.

“These shots need to get in everybody’s arm as rapidly as possible, or we’re going to be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for, that we went through last year,” McConnell said during his weekly news conference. “I want to encourage everybody to do that and to ignore all of these other voices that are giving demonstrably bad advice.”

The remarks from McConnell followed comments in recent days from other top Republicans and from conservative voices urging people to get vaccinated, even as other members of the GOP continue to sound notes of skepticism and spread misinformation about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.

Among the most notable voices was Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, the No. 2 Republican in House leadership, who received his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine over the weekend and urged others to follow suit. Scalise had long resisted vaccination, claiming protection from antibodies and saying earlier this year that he wanted to ensure his constituents had a chance to be vaccinated first.

In an interview Tuesday, Scalise said “there shouldn’t be any hesitancy over whether or not it’s safe and effective.” He said he was compelled to get the shot in light of the recent spread of the delta variant and the associated spike in cases — and that politics was not a consideration.

....

A survey of all 535 members of Congress by CNN found that in May, 100 percent of Democrats from both chambers were fully vaccinated, while only 44.8 percent of House Republicans and 92 percent of Republican senators could claim the same. Democrats say the lag in vaccinations among conservatives has been holding them back in easing restrictions on Capitol Hill."

Jen Psaki is not dumb, and no one listening to her can reasonably think she is. And her name is not that hard to spell.

Doocy's purpose is not to evaluate news or seek answers for and on newsworthy issues. His purpose is to provide sound bites to FNC talking heads and listeners. She rebuts the guy on a regular basis, and he has become a social media buffoon over the last six months. But the issue is larger than his buffoonery or Psaki's easy professionalism with his dumb set-ups. The issue is that Fox doesn't send its principal WH correspondent to the WH for news.

Seems to me that if Trump wants to produce a video claiming credit for the vaccine ( and oh yeah, the scientists) and tells his followers to just get the shot dammit, that's fine. Go ahead.

He doesn't need an invitation from anyone.

And if that video is something the Biden folks think they want to help disseminate, fine to do so.
If they don't think it's helpful, they won't. Simple.

But any notion that Trump will ever collaborate in such a project with anyone in control but entirely himself is just delusional.

Nope Joe will just call up Zuckerberg, Dorsey et al and have them pull it because "it's wrong a lie".

The already burned the house down; and now you're asking if they can cash in on insurance.

No one invited these latecomers....Better late....

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ...

All those years in school we were taught there was no such thing as a stupid question. If your name is Peter Doocy...and the comparison now is the difference from what a dumb question is in relation to an even dumber Jen Sake answer. I'll circle back to you on this. :|

Jen Sake is not dumb. She is smart enough to understand how to evade answering any question put towards her. When your boss in a mental tailspin that is her job. At least she does not have to go to cue cards to answer simple, basic questions. Even if someone asks a really tough question.. I will circle back on that some distant time in the future.

I guess there really is such a thing as a dumb question. Especially if that question is asked by any republican of any Democrat. That is a dumb question..😅

+1 ... an endless negotiation going no where!

Hmmm, not sure what you're saying. Is there a wink at the end of that?

Trump can't use Twitter and Facebook now. Nothing to do with Biden Admin.
So, if it's a POS video, it'll get relatively little dissemination...however, if it's a solid piece, the Biden folks can encourage its dissemination on their channels. And surely the major networks will help it get seen.

Up to Trump to do something positive.

I'm not betting on that to happen though, are you?
