The hurricane is back for a few days. I struggle with getting these videos on here, this is the best I can do and that's not saying it's great. You just gotta love the way this guy tosses you the ball, gives it right to you. He's a good boy. https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=5E11DC2B ... 11&o=OneUp
Mornin' folks, just thought I'd drop in to let you know I'm spending the week-end with my gpaw.
Gotta tell ya, he's a little nuts for throwing a ball. So far I think he's thrown it ninety-six hundred
times and yes, I've chased after it enthusiastically and brought it back to him every time. He says
I'm the best tossing dog in the world too, I do try to throw good passes. This is me laying it up for
him so all he has to do is put his hand out and let it land in there (have never seen a dog toss the
ball to you like this guy does).
Can't get enough of this ball!!!
He says I'm pretty handsome too. I think he likes me a lot.
Says I'm the best dog ever.

My dog Girl. My brother brought her home from his college girlfriend’s farm in Ohio. She was with me for 17 years from the time I was in junior high to my early 30’s. She was about as perfect as a companion can get. Sweet, easy going, friendly, smart and incredibly athletic. Would chase tennis balls endlessly. Could swim forever. You had to force her to get out of the pool or the Chesapeake Bay where I used to take her. I was so lucky to have her. The balloon with a card floated down to our property from an elementary school nearby as part of an experiment. I took the picture and sent it back.

Looks like a sweetie. The elementary schoolers had to love that.
She have some Aussie Shepherd or Boarder Collie in her? Both
crazy ballers with endless energy.
Love the old Chevy truck too.

The mom was reported to be a cocker spaniel and the rest of the litter looked different from her. She was found essentially abandoned under a chicken shed. And early vet thought there may have been some German Shepard in her, but she was a medium sized dog. In her later years I used to take her out to McDonald’s for a cheeseburger in that truck which used to belong to my dad and I inherited after his early demise. 1974 Chevy Cheyenne that I drove until 1990. Photo was about 1985 in La Cañada, Calif.

I found another view of the front of the truck I drove my dog around in. The old bench seats were much more sociable.

Well, once again, looks like a sweetie.
Truck's nice too.
Just adopted a 2 year old Doberman Pinscher from a Doberman Rescue group. It has been twenty plus years since we lost our two male Dobermans; one was Black and Rust and the other was a Red, both dies from DCM.
She is still young and very playful, house trained, no need for a crate (at least not yet) have taught her to heal and shake hands in less than a week, working on following hand signals for sit, down, stay and come. Our world is a bit upside down right now not having pets for so long....but are loving it nonetheless.
