Whether this is true or just a cleverly constructed story, I suppose blind guy’s version is that he copied the contents of the laptop onto the hard drive. Why would you do that if the laptop was salvageable?

So, his story goes, he then had the laptop and the hard drive which Hunter had brought in onto which he had copied the contacts of the laptop.

After, allegedly, Hunter failed to come back to get his property, the guy claims that because of something he wrote on his invoice, Hunter’s property became his property. Not sure if that is a correct statement of Delaware law.

Then he says the FBI came and took the laptop and hard drive.

So how did Rudy and the New York Post get copies of the hard drive?

Sounds like blind guy made some extra copies of the hard drive. Here is where he may have exposure. Also, what right did he have to look through the hard drive to search for stuff useful to Trump?

If his argument is that by the time he did that, the laptop legally was his, I wonder if he is on somewhat thin ice. I would think Hunter still had privacy rights.

I can see why blind guy is acting very nervously these days. I would too if I were in his shoes. I suspect the hard drive will reveal when blind guy searched the hard drive. If he did so before the property legally became his, if it ever did, I suspect he is in deep doo doo.

Rudy knows the FBI isn’t going to comment so this gives him carte blanche to say anything he wants without fear of being contradicted by the FBI.

He'd already copied it onto his server to transfer to the hard drive which Hunter subsequently brought in.

It may have resided on his server or he made copies of what he gave the FBI. It was his property at that point.

Rudy has some very serious issues. He is such a despicable human being that I don’t feel sorry for him, but he needs help.

His story is expressly contradicted by the blind guy who said there is no child pornography on the hard drive.

Bottom line, we are supposed to take Rudy’s word for this? He won’t provide copies of this hard drive to anybody. He says no reputable news organization exists. What about the New York post, which he trusted to run the initial story?

Seems pretty obvious why Rudy won’t provide the hard drive to anybody. That would allow forensics analysis to determine when the fabricated stuff was loaded onto the drive.

What has Rudy ever said that has turned out to be true?

Read earlier he turned it over to Delaware Police at some point this week.

So Rudy says. So what? I can take my laptop to my local police department and turn it in if I like. Even if what Rudy says is true, this is obviously just a publicity stunt.

If the stuff is so terrible, why did Rudy wait all these months? Why does the blind guy say there is no child pornography on the computer? Why hasn’t the FBI brought charges?

Even Tucker seems to be losing interest. He breathlessly devoted 15 to 20 minutes of his show on Friday and Monday, but gave it a much lower profile and much less emphasis last night.
