They are all politicians. I don’t cheer for any of them. You on a team? I have a fundraiser tonight for an inner city youth organization. I don’t think about Hillary Clinton. Why do you? I live in CT as an independent but will admit the last voting cycle I
made it a point not to vote for a single Republican other than two local candidates that I know. Usually my ballot is pretty balanced. Anyway, nice to see you post again. Last night’s TV show may have rustled you up. I was watching The Ballad of Cable Hogue.

EDIT: I haven’t worked at a homeless shelter but I have routinely donated personal care products and other stuff to a homeless shelter for veterans, champ.

I did not watch the show last night. It is not worth the energy to me - did watch some pretty good hockey though. Rangers can be frustrating. Good on you - if you need contributors PM me - I am all into that - but you need to do one for my charity. It is all good.

aFan, If you know Telluride, we park the motorhome in Cortez for 3 months. Two years ago I saw the beef and cattlemen parade - I grew up in NV - had their pow-wow parade on main street do I think they would overthrow the country - nope. Our motorhome slot folks in PA for PSU football they still have Trump signs in their yard. They are the nicest people in the world - farmers. They would give you the shirt off their back. They are barreled up - do I think they would try and over through the country - nope. Nor do I think the people in Cortez would. There is a TON of anger out is all I know and living in fear or a fantasy land that you have to be right - good luck with that.

You missed answering my question: every farmer I work on the Western Slope and down in the San Luis valley not only thinks that our elections are fake/compromised.....they also think Covid and the vaccine is fake.

Is that what you're finding, or not?

So to my point: i adore these people. And I lost some of them to the clickbait/disinformation they're being spoon fed because they refused to get vaccinated......and died from Covid. This isn't a game for me, or "living in fear", as you put it. My friends are dying over this stuff.

Coach Ron Rivera announced the fine in a statement Friday after meeting with Del Rio earlier in the day. He said Del Rio's statements were hurtful to members of the local community and did not reflect the views of the organization.

Asked Wednesday about a social media post he made earlier in the week, Del Rio downplayed the deadly insurrection and questioned why the protests in the summer of 2020 after Floyd's death were not receiving the same scrutiny. Del Rio called the Jan. 6, 2021, riot “a dust-up at the Capitol,” which he later apologized for.

“He understands the distinction between the events of that dark day and peaceful protests, which are a hallmark of our democracy,” Rivera said in the statement, adding that Del Rio had a constitutional right to voice his opinion. “Words have consequences and his words hurt a lot of people in our community. I want to make it clear that our organization will not tolerate any equivalency between those who demanded justice in the wake of George Floyd's murder and the actions of those on Jan. 6 who sought to topple our government.”

Rivera said he feels strongly after their conversation that Del Rio “will have a greater understanding for the impact of his language and the values that our team stands for.” He said the money will be donated to the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund.

I'm and old guy who is normally in bed by 9pm. I think I inadvertently listened to a few minutes of Liz Cheney jibber jabbering about what a scumbag trump is. I could tell where this FLP chit show was heading by then. My wife nodded off on our couch watching Fear Factor. Roxy and I went to bed by 9:15. Did I miss anything more important than a good nights sleep??? I doubt it, the collective dumbfudgery of FLP analysis of the chit show tells me going to bed was the wise option. A few of you folks got your rocks off and found some albeit temporary stress relief... good for you all...

The problem -- too many people no longer believe what our government & mainstream media tell us. There are valid reasons for that.
That's not because of Trump. He's a symptom. He exploited it.

The government was not realistically in jeopardy of falling on Jan 6. That is just more partisan fear mongering.
