This will clearly do nothing for the economy, won't even increase sales of coal if only done for a short time. Just building a pipeline to the wallets of the owners.

Here are some of things that Nancy Pelosi is pushing today for a funding deal for Corona Virus:

1) Collective bargaining powers for unions
2) Increased fuel emissions standards for airlines
3) Expansion of wind and solar tax credits

To be fair we're a lot more populous than those countries. I wonder where we'd fall fall if it were adjusted on a per capita basis. Still too high, but it would give a better comparison.

You know what you don’t hear in the NY updates? How much money this is costing Cuomo. About being booed. Insults aimed at his predecessors. What a great job he’s doing. How he doesn’t need help. How he’s tired of this, only 7 days left.

So Rand Paul apparently spent a week in the Senate AFTER getting a coronavirus test, which turned out to be positive.

Guess he subscribes to PB's "compelling" theory that there's no airborne transmission.

These are bargaining chips. She wants garbage like the half-trillion-dollar Trump-controlled slush fund OUT. She's showing that the Ds can also play the game.

Red presented a graph late last week. It shows the US tracking China and Italy. My daily updates indicate we are falling off a little but only in infections per capita. In deaths per capita growth we are still hanging with China and Italy. The only reason we are falling off infections/capita the past couple days is the reduced testing being done based on CDC decision to conserve PPE at the end of last week.

Now why would that be? She seemed quite happy to authorize Obama's use of $700 billion for banks and special interests in 2009...

Asking too much to keep nonsensical goodies out of bailout funds...

Oh I see. Government mandated shut down of the US economy (a 10 trillion hit) doesn't effect corporations but it makes it necessary to improve "Women's Health" issues.

What an idiot.

Governor Andrew Cuomo in a radio interview with Sean Hannity on Friday said he is hopeful an anti-malaria drug will make some gains in fighting the symptoms of COVID-19.

"I'm an optimist," Cuomo said. "I'm hopeful about the drugs and that's why we'll try it here in New York as soon as we get it."

Sobering yes, fair comparison of US place in all of this, less so. China was not shown and would look worse I think.

You need to inform the American voters who are about to miss their rent check April 1 that you Left fella's are just playing 3D chess here, no harm no foul. And if things go off the rails and you can't buy diapers or food, don't forget, we are pro-woman and pro-union!

From my music buddy in Detroit:

--I have had a fever of 100 or more for six days straight now. I can do some work on my computer or around the house, but not for more than about 3-4 hours before I need to lay down and sleep for 3-4 hours. I woke this morning having significant trouble breathing. Being vertical has helped, but it was frankly a scary ten minutes or so when I first got up. My wife appears to have this now too and she has autoimmune issues, so I'm much more worried about her. She has also encountered shortness of breath in a much shorter period than I did. At this point I am fairly confident this is COVID19, but testing is getting no easier to come by, despite the lies to the contrary coming from "that guy". We'll continue to hang in there. --

-- I live just one mile from the nearest hospital. I can get to help when I really need it. My doctor is not seeing sick patients at all and just a few days ago was operating his waiting room normally with elderly patients right next to my wife before she was showing any symptoms. He unfortunately is one who's politics have impaired his data interpretation skills. I have medical professionals in the family with the same syndrome. They thought this was all pretty dumb until a couple of days ago. I will be changing doctors when this is all over. --

“This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told lawmakers, according to a source on the call.
