Biden has disappointingly followed along the same pathway, though they added to that approach smarter policies around more targeted restrictions and more support for critical technology on=shoring. CHIPs Act and Infrastructure.

China has huge demographic problems plus an authoritarian system that has short term advantages but long term disadvantages.

"Patience grasshopper" is unfortunately not the strategy that many voters want to hear, whether R's or D's.
